My old xbone stopped working almost a month ago. Wife brought me home an Xbone S yesterday. I do like the small form factor and no power brick.

Don't think that I will utilize the 4K media option.

Need advice, got myself and my dad xbox one s's for Christmas with madden bundle. But I also want to get a shooter game. What games can you play with just 2 people, not multiplayer where there are a bunch of kids talking at the same time, but a game where the two of us can play together at our respective houses? Gears 4, titanfall 2, cod?

the XBone S has been magic for my 4K movies and other games (mostly multiplatform) that I don't mind playing off PS4 like TF2, and FFV. Overwatch.

Don't see why you'd get anything but the S at this point.

And I'd buy new, too many issues with used electronics IMO.

Do the xbox menus still advertise when they have a discount on the live packages? Ie 12 months for $40 instead of $70-80 or do I have to learn to navigate the menus to find what i needs?

a full 2 months too late but Gears 4, as not only does it have co-op campaign (which i dont think TF2 or Cod has) but gears also has horde mode, which is great fun where you see how long you can last on a map against AI enemys, its round based and you bild fortifcations and ****. Good fun. Plus Gears 4 gives you all the old Gears games on backwards compatibility

Went to buy the fallout 4 season pass. Was $75 or something on the xbox store.
Googled for a cheaper one an for $44 i bought the season pass from the MICROSOFT store... sent me the code instantly an everything was bliss.

I'm making half a mil a year streaming myself playing video games on youtube.

Notsrs, never seen a reason to try it but seems streaming is almost a mainstream thing now, wouldn't think there would be issues if you have decent internet.

Grab a PS4 and play TLoU, by far the best game ever made. Worth buying a PS4 for that one title alone. SrS

On Xboner, probably the GoW games. Then Boarderlands, Bioshock, and Dishonored are good multiplats.

What? Not a failure IMO. Maybe from sales, but from my standpoint, it's a great system. Happy with the games I have played on it.

Agreed. I also don't give a **** about any of that exclusive crap. Been an Xbox fan since the original and will continue to be. The Scorpio looks like a BEAST

For MS it's a business and the system is a failure.

For you as a consumer you have settled. Not a single exclusive worth playing and nearly every multiplat runs at lower frame rate and resolution than on PS4. If you refuse to leave the Xbox ecosystem for one reason or another, then sure it plays games and is better than nothing, couldn't say it's not worth purchasing if there are personal reasons to stay with the brand but MS got rekt this gen. At least we will see Scorpion because of it, and hopefully Sony has an answer to that. Consumer wins.
