DB rows and T-bar rows mostly.
Agree'd, Barbell rows are an awesome lat builder
I have done this before
But the gains are obvious
Usually the first 2 or 3 sets I'm strict and the last set or two I let my form slip a bit. Not that bad though.

I would focus on hitting back 2-3 times per week (I prefer upper/lower and full body workouts), focus on wide grip pulldowns. I work back with 10 sets per workout, 5 rows and 5 pulldowns. Don't neg let traps/rear delts, they help back development tremendously. Cable pullovers are a good isolation movement for the lats, i usually use it to pre exhaust my back before I start my workout.
