I've noticed teens tend to check me out more than older adults. I just ignore it. Is this normal? lol

I do notice it. Mostly if I'm running in a sports bra and tank top... for the longest time I thought I must be really disgusting and sweaty in a noticeable way. Then I was like, duh, boobs are bouncing all over. f*ck. See, I tend to sort of squish them down and they look fine while I'm standing still, but running, well, ya know. In the gym, same thing. It's simply the boobs. I don't know a way around it, really, since I do not enjoy wearing sleeves while running or working out (chafing!) and also I do like to wear things that are form-fitting simply for my own self-esteem--I like to remind myself that I do have a waist, since baggy shirts sort of hang on me and obsecure my body entirely. The gym is sometimes my healthy-body-image place and form-fitting clothing helps with that. It's not intended for others, but I do realize, of course, that it's definitely drawn some attention.
I don't mind, but I would feel bad if people assumed I was dressing the way I do specifically FOR attention. I don't really need it or rely on it. Like, I have the avatar I do here because I look at it and go, 'Awesome, I look sort of legit and like I belong on a site called 'bodybuilding.com'! Boy, was I having a good ab day when I took that!'"The right to be heard does not automatically include the right to be taken seriously."

All of my gym clothes are tight, form fitting, and short. I wear them because that's what I'm comfortable in. I try to wear pants, or shirts with sleeves, and every time I regret it. I'm already making myself hot and sweaty, I don't want to feel even more gross. If people want to look at my ass hanging out of my shorts, they can. It's not wasting my gym time, it's wasting theirs.

~vain as phuck crew~
I stare lovingly at my cute smile and beautiful eyes during rest periods.
edit: Yeah they do, but it's not because I'm hot, rather, most of the dudes at my gym are thristy to the point that the manager encourages women to use the Women's Only section, and the manager is a male.Last edited by aintevenmad; 10-24-2013 at 09:50 PM.

No... I have to mutter obscenities and announce my lifts with heavy pacing and grunting to get any attention.

I really couldnt tell you to be honest, I am too busy concentrating on my own self, let alone watching others to see if they are watching me and vice versa.
There are much more cuter things there then this old duck.

Probably, but I check them out too, I do little form checks and everything. I was once stopped by an older guy who told me there was some discussion over how much I can squat, but most people are good at hiding they are looking. I also had someone come up and tell me I should be benching 45's though, so perhaps they are watching me and thinking "man this chick is so weak, look at her!"
In all honesty, you could wear a burka and people are still going to look. That might make them look a few times, actually! What has ten fingers and ten toes and loves attention?

I've not noticed this with the younger guys in the actual gym, but have been approached by the younger guys who go outside the gym on nights out, which shocked me.
Nah, they are more obvious than the younger ones. Two of the older ones wink at me too. It's awkward.......... especially when I'm jogging and like a previous poster said, the boobs are doing there own separate exercise regime whilst attached to me. Jeez.I don't have problems, I have situations.
Situations, you can get out of!

I know what your problem is Diva. You are just too hot for the gym. If fact, both you and your other account as a 16 year old boy are too hot for this site.

Oh chit!
In any event, to respond to the OP - I only get looked at when I'm doing deadlifts and it's either because my form is atrocious OR because I'm making noise and my gym is silent (no music or anything).
I did have a guy come over and ask how much I was squatting. It wasn't that much, but I think that the fact that I'm the only one who consistently squats in my gym is more the reason why he asked. This universe is an uncaring and amoral place. It owes you nothing and you owe it nothing. If you can wrest happiness from it, at any point, then cherish it. Revel in that happiness.

i used to go to a gym where only the 2 guys i trained with (boyfriend and best mate) and a few other guys actually lifted anything... i wasn't lifting huge amounts (60kg bench for example) but i would actually putting guys off their workouts. Made the guys i was with laugh... so not exactly checking me out... but good for my self esteem none the less.

It happens to me all the time. The gym I go to the men act like they have never seen a female who can lift heavy weight and is cute. Good thing is, there is always someone immediately ready to spot me if need be, bad thing is, men constantly want me to talk. One time I was in the middle of squats and a guy comes over for casual convo like I don't have this weight on my back. lol

I can confirm I check every single female and some males throughout my entire workout, I wonder if they notice
