It is about time we started an official discussion thread. We look like a playoff team. We smell like a playoff team. We have had some injury issues but I would take a healthy Detroit Lion's team against any other healthy team in our division.

I think Bell is actually a bit busted up. He has been huge for turning short game into decent yardage. I think he was questionable today but is playing. He probably insisted he play but isn't 100%

The only good news is that if both Chi and GB lose, it won't be costly. We needed that win and it hurts losing due to a fukin punter but...
...honestly here is the kicker. The big difference between the Lion's now and the Lion's of yesterday has to be how we recoup from a loss. If we can come back and win against the Cowboys before the bye week, I think we can be ok. How we handle a loss is big when the points are building. Before, we would implode and the entire team would fall apart. Now we need to be better than that. If we can handle a loss, come back strong and pick up wins...we will be just fine.

I'm going to roll with what someone else said. NFL is rigged.
How do you punt 50 and 60 yard punts all game long then when the game is on the line you only punt 27 yards? Makes perfect sense.
It also comes down to the blocked fg. That really hurt the lions. Lions make that fg, they coast into half time being up instead of being down.
