Is whey protein ideal for a cut

I train cardio conversions on the daily and I'm cutting successfully.
Is whey protein ideal on an begginers muscle keeping cut?

You don't need a protein powder if you can hit your protein requirements with food, if you can't then get a powder

No, there's nothing special about whey.

During cutting I'd actually suggest you eat WHOLE FOOD instead of whey.

I find iT useful but if your eating adequate protein you don't need protein powder. I use it when I am cutting and make smoothies so I stay full. But I prefer just eating chicken an rice.
