My dad says he cant lift because he is too old(turns 50 next year) he has high blood pressure, what advice would you give him?

He feels tired alot of times and its because he is not active and want him to join a gym...

Get him to take Orange Triad and Fish Oil. Then go out and run with him for a mile. Then get him to do 5 pushups. Then increase ii a little every day, after recovery days for him. Make him commit to it, make him commit to YOU! Show up at a set time and be ready to work out with him.
