All I hear in this thread is *******s making excuses and people who've worked hard putting them in their place.
Damn son, listen to the 6'5", 231lb bro who posted pictures...OP looks great, too. Who do you think has more knowledge, them or the lazy peanuts claiming it can't be done.
My goal is 185lbs at 8-10%...Can be achieved natty and it's all about the journey.Making Music

yeah man I feel ya. I lifted for 2 years when I was your age. quit at 19 i was so discouraged. lifted my little fkn heart out, and you would have NEVER known it.
i was dumb though. my diet was awful. too low in cals, not enough protein, bad everything. my split was as bro as bro can be. brb everyday is chest day.
leg day consisted of leg extensions and bodyweight lunges LOL
and yes, genetics play 2 large roles;
1. inserts and structure.
2. natty test levels
you need to figure out what is the plan of action for YOU. I was so skinny I looked sickly. so i had to do one thing. if you're higher in BF, maybe you need to read about some recomps and eating right around maintenance. check out bobbyD's training logs and his early threads, look where he started and what he was able to go NATURALLY
fuk yea
aww man, before my diet was right, you wouldn't even know I have ever seen the inside of a gym. srs. night and day.
same with a good split that works for you.
as far as taking easy street, there are a few things, one being if you can't build any muscle without drugs, drugs will not help you much. seen it over and over, guys with NO base ride a bike, gain some weight fast, and boom lose it all bcuz they still don't know how to eat and train.
and you don't get to keep it. you will return to your natty limit, and what your natty test levels allow eventually. sooner than later if you don't know what you're doing.

ok but YOLO]
No just kidding, what you're talking about is mostly "ABUSE", MUCH less harm as with in moderation
Compare it to drinking, 1 -2 beers a day is stress relief that is probably easing your mind and helping you unwind and sleep easier at night being more relaxed - creating a net positive influence
and 12-15.... well now you're putting a strain on your organsFreestyle Wrestling, DotA 2, Canadian, Copenhagen Wintergreen

umm..ok? bcuz gear = an endorsement with bb.com and ON and BSN and Cell-tech? riiiigghhhhtttttt keep dreaming. what color is the sky on your planet?
sorry
i never mentioned abuse of gear at all. if that's what you wanna do, great, just stay safe. this is about ppl who thing natty bb is a massive joke and waste of time, it isn't, at all.
45 pounds of muscle in 4 years is useless?
45 pounds on your frame is still average?
really?

My only beef with steroids is that unlike natty bodybuilding a lot of times it doesn't teach you the lessons that bodybuilding teaches you outside the gym. Many times it fails to build that character of patience, dedication, hard work, earning everything on your own type of person bc in life unlike bodybuilding u can't cheat your way out.

yeah i feel ya.
I'm not sure i would call it cheating per se. I mean I just saw generation iron, all on tech obviously, all work INSANELY hard. no easy way out at all.
but I think a lot of ppl here for one reason or another are very down on themselves and think they can never get anywhere without help. and then with other miscers who are either not-natty making fun of them for being natty still, or not-natty but claim natty confusing them, it just makes it a bad environment for a new lifter trying to learn what's what in the world of bodybuilding.

'noob gains' is not a time frame. it's not like your body knows a year from when you first picked up a weight to stop giving you as much gains LOL
some points are good, nobody buks for 4 years straight. but if your cardio is good, and your diet is good, you don't have to gain a lot of fat as a natural. not sure why ppl think you do.
no hate brah, but it doesn't really sound like you know what you're trying to say.
if they are trying to get shredded that's fine, you can lose weight and build muscle. bobbyD did it very well in like 200 days. went from fat to shredded. lost weight, built muscle. no drugs. don't see a problem really... it's very possible. you're basically saying it isn't. and it really discourages a lot of ppl from even trying hard bcuz they think it's just a hopeless dream.

3 weeks out from a physique show, almost 5 years natty progress.
i'm on a team full of nattys but.. tbh, i'm not re-signing. anyone who knows me knows what team i'm a part of. i absolutely HATE the people who are SO natty that their lives revolve around hating on dudes that use. phuck that chit. absolutely dumb.
brb "How was your weekend brahs?!" "OMG LOL I SPENT THE WEEKEND WITH MY GRANDMA AND MY GIRLFRIENE DFJLKDSAJFLSKDJFLKDSJ"
sorry, i go out and party on occasion. i'd rather be on a team full of roid pushing sick kunts that have a social life than a team full of natty virgins.

Bold part,Most people waste there noob gains meaning that first year were lye says u can gain 25 pounds of muscle or watever does not actually happen. Why?bc large Majoirity of ppl who first stat lifting either have no idea wat there doing, don't diet to there full potential, don't work out logically enuff, etc
And to a certain extent it is a hopelless dream guys like Zyzz/Jeff said are not huge in anyway but you will NEVER look like them natty, and say if your model judging by body only not face if your fighting to be on a magzine or sum your always get beat out by the guy on gear bc he be more harder, fuller, sherreded, bigger then u no matter what bc of juice,GH and diuretics
