So im building an interest in c6s. If i do get one, its gonna be driven. No driveway queen. A couple questions.
1. The f55 package is magnetic ride control only? Does it share all the other "upgrades" like tranny cooler, larger sway bars, larger brakes etc with the z51?
2. Besides the HUD and harmonic balancer issues, what else is common for early c6s?

If i do get one, it will be a lower priced example. Something to have fun with, along with my superduke.

F55 is magnetic suspension only. I don't know how good the Mag Ride was in the C6s, but on the C7 it's phenomenal.

Sold this one 2 years ago, FBO + cam. Was a fun car but needed a backseat with a baby. Bought a 600 whp 5th gen camaro. Bumped that up to 750, got bored, sold it a few weeks ago and now should be picking up my new to me "4 door vette" (Cts-V) at the end of this week.

Didnt know there was a corvette crew. Took my C6 Z06 out to track night in america last night at njmp lightning. First time out since all the suspension mods (sig), and lord Ive never had some much grip. I cant fathom going wider tires and eventually aero. Was tracking 1:16-1:18 with traffic hitting low 140s by end of straight.


Edit: here is photo of the car before the suspension work... it sits higher now to get the full rom from the suspension:?

I have a low mile 06. No mrc.


I had an 03 mach 1 that was mostly built and turboed. Sold it before going crazy on it for the Z. I'm not mad about it
