The short answer is that the technique in front squats is so much easier for me. Also, it was a way for me to address my weaknesses. I've added box squats to my training program, though, need to practice more.

if its easier than you gotta change it up! start doing those back squats, your muscles will thank you in the end!

thank you! i havent done leg day since apr 2013 since i tore my patella tendon, its literally all hockey and walking the hills around campus to get to class

I've been doing the "Booty-ful Beginnings" (yep, it's really called that) workout from Strong Curves by Bret Contreras and I'm on Week 10. Lots more work to do but I have seen some progress.

I totally agree that a hundo is pretty expensive for leggings, as a girl who pretty much lives in leggings I feel I can attest to all the various qualities of different brands. These are definitely top shelf looking and feeling. The fabric is very good quality and the look and feel is amazing. Now, the one thing I am still testing is longevity as these are still quite new. If the fabric pills up after a few washes, or they start to look worn or whatev, then they really aren't worth much at all, eh? So many of my cheaper leggings look worn so quickly, I'm really hoping these ones will last.

I know women who spend 100 $ on a pair or jeans or 200$ for shoes or bags... personally, i spend my days in combats, so my gym clothes are like my "civilian" clothes. oh, and i always wear pajamas at home.

Some amazing results in this thread so far! I admit many ladies here are WAY farther along in the squat booty department than me so hats off. Here is my current state. My legs have a hard time thickening up it seems despite the big compound movements I've been focusing on.
