what is steven jacksons value? worth trying to pry him away from an owner who is stashing him on the bench?
mainly his playoff value. I can part with an RB & WR and be fine until sjax comes back in week 10 or whatever

Got Tony G for MJD an hour before last nights game. feelsgoodman
When Gronk comes back would it be smarter to trade away him or Gonzalez? Gronk will probably get more points but he'll also have higher trade value assuming he returns to form.375/300/525

I heard he could be back as soon as week 7!
I'd take the risk, especially if you can part with someone. He was probably drafted in the late 1st, early 2nd, so I'm sure the owner is hurting. They might be willing to trade for a lesser talent that can perform immediately as opposed to waiting for him to come back.[Official] San Diego Brah

just acquired Vincent Jackson for Kenbrell Thompkins
already have Dez Bryant and Randall Cobb as my starting WR's, so he would essentially be a FLEX and a safety net in case of injury (knocks on wood)

I dunno man. The TB QB situation is pretty unknown right now.
Larry Fitzgerald finished as WR42 in standard formats last year.
The floor for an elite WR who is on a weak offense with a bad QB is very low.
A high floor is what I would want out of a safety net, and I think the guy with Brady throwing to him might have a higher floor than the guy with the Glennon dude throwing to him.
Buuuut Jackson is the WR1 on his team and has WR1 ability, so...who knows. I"d say his ceiling is higher, and he doesn't risk getting pushed way down the depth chart like Thompkins does (if and when Gronk and Amendola are back, and Edelman does well, etc, Thompkins could have some real dud games)
So maybe as I talk out loud now I think Thompkins maybe has the lower floor going forward?
So I guess Idunno

Really excited about 1 of my league, the other league is absolutely awful. If it wasent for that 1 league that am doing decent in (2-2 now) i would lose it. Everyone told me that i'm probably going to make the playoffs with ease with the team i put together. I am down 97 points this week. 100% srs. He still got Wallace left and i got the Hartley and Saints D. I want to thank MJD, Doug Martin, Kyle Dudolph, and Ej Manuel (Newton on bye) for their efforts this week.

Yeah it was terrible.
I was watching Red Zone and they didn't show much of it, but I was following the stat tracker and it seemed like every couple of minutes it would pop up with Martin rushing for -2
Buuut I think we found his floor, and it was 1 game <10.80 points through four games, and even that one was still 6.10. I drafted him for his floor, over guys like Foster and Spiller and whoever. So...not SO bad.
