Not gonna read whole thread, but why not on the home page under "Supplements" where it says"everything about the world of supplements" put 18+yrs only or no minors or something along those lines if you don't want teens posting in this section?

Well I guess my logic is if its directly below the Supplements link they are more likely to see it then a sticky. I'm going to be completely honest, the stickies do not stick out from regular threads and 95% of time I completely skip right past without even giving a look. This is just from experiences on various boards. Stickies tend not to grab attention that they are intended for. I suppose one could just keep stickies plus add the 18+ thing on the home screen. No harm and I'm sure a very easy change to make.
Example- It just took me 6 days to notice you had even replied in this sticky and I'm on the forum multiple times a day because I have developed such a habit of completely skipping them.

bumping a quality thread. i just wish this was around when i started lifting as it may have stopped me going balls deep on my first trip to the gym with OG jack3d - massively underestimated it and chugged back the full dosage.

I've always been astounded by the cluelessness of not only the sub 18 crowd but those in their 20's+ as well..the thing is I'm cool with helping people. Ask me something on ******** or instagram and ill respond, Im not going to troll you for wanting to learn..But i guess whats important to accept is, people won't do their OWN research, work, trial and error etc..they just want that quick answer. & thats what ultimately separates those who will be in it for the long run from those who won't..coming from someone who read all the forums, the articles, was in the gym looking up to the bigger guys at age 15-16 and not making useless accusations..its just hard to see kids (and not kids) so lazy.

Hey I really liked that OP! There is Great truth in the young not needing supplements. When I was 17-20 I was lacking in the nutrition department. Yeah I put carton egg whites (like for cooking) in my fruit smoothies in the morning but beyond that I pretty much ate everything in sight healthy or not. (I think my high metabolism helped)
I rode a bicycle and I rode it hard every day and I refused to drive a car. Commutes were 5 miles one way and daily miles were 10-25 (and over 50 on days I rode to the Mountain Bike trail and then rode the trail it self or rode to the jump park etc...) I hit the rock climbing/bouldering wall 5-7 days a week (all day on my days off) and used their weight room to lift light weight and super high reps 2-3 times a week. While my small frame did not show it under a large T-shirt I was pretty well defined.
Sorry if that sounds like bragging. My point is it doesn't all have to be in the weight room I took two things I loved, mountain bikes & rock climbing, and made my entire life revolve around them. You could do the same at a Do-Jo, soccer, or a Jr Boxing league(do they still have that?) etc... Being young, not having a family and working only 40 hours a week gave me plenty of time for all of this.
Emphasis on Nutrition; I got lucky, good genes I suppose but I should have been eating better... I would have gotten more out of everything I did.

Tell that to the bartender who denies anyone under 21. Even of i turn 21 the next day legally he can't give me a drink the day today.
But I still believe that you don't need supplements if you are under 18 even if there was no legal issue. Just eat, lift, and sleep.

Please Help
Hey, I am a 14 year old kid. Only 5'1 and weigh 104.5. I have been working out for two months now. I do not have access to a gym so I only do home workouts. I use a pull up bar and preform various chin-ups/pull-up workouts and many body weight workouts often. I have noticed a lot of gains because two months ago believe or not i was 86 pounds at 5'0 tall, very scrawny as well. The only way i can amp up my workouts is by adding more reps. I am very active by doing activities like basketball and swimming a lot. Over the past 2 weeks i haven't been noticing me getting any bigger. I guess its because of my limited access to weights and only being able to do body weight workouts. I do not take proteins a lot in my daily meals and is wondering if taking protein shakes would be necessary for me, and would hopefully see some noticeable differences in my body for body building. Thanks for reading this long ass text.
