I'm about to move up to Seattle in 2 weeks and I didn't see any recent or active threads about the area, so I figured I'd start one.
Since I'll pretty much have to start my friends base over, it would be nice to meetup with some Miscers to go lift or go out for drinks.
Holla!

Weird coincidence. I may be moving to the Seattle area in the near future. One of my best friends went out there in May and loves it. His life is 100% better now. I've always wanted to go but I never did. Life at home sucks these days, and I'm ready to go over a rainbow and be done with this hellhole.

bellevue is too fukkin expensive. $7 for a tall can of PBR? No thanks. (in b4 hipster comments -- it was that or $15 for vodka/diet)
There is definitely tons of cool chit to do though. Hit up Fremont for sure.Common Sense Crew

What neighborhood in Seattle?
Seattle Strength and Power Seattle
Otherwise there's lots of other gyms. LA Fitness is all around, but has zero presence in downtown Seattle. Golds Gym in Capitol Hill, 24 hour fitness in downtown, some studios, and then of course the premier athletic clubs.
I live in the suburb anyway.* Drunk off kombucha crew

i just rememberd of a really sick gym i saw one day when i was walking around in seattle... hm.. it was near the park that has those three stone statues they call art but are just retarded stones with no meaning (Srs its like a rock and a plate and its like a slide show of the rock falling off the plate).
if i remember it/find it ill post ithere but i remember seeing it and being like "damn".
the 24hr in seattle that i saw was a mini one and did not like.

I only go there because LA Fitness bought the Bally's I used to go to (and closed it down). It has grown on me a bit, I mean it's a typical LA Fitness. Decent equipment, definitely busy from 4-6pm times I avoid, and a fair amount of attractive women. Just a wide variety of people that go there.

You're not talking about Olympic Sculpture Park are you? I know there is Seattle Athletic Club relatively close to that area.
Anyway, I'm locked into LA Fitness for life since my contract is $120 yearly and gives me access to all the ones in WA except the exclusive ones.* Drunk off kombucha crew
