    Question Do SQUATS makes your butt BIGGER or SMALLER ?

    I've asked quite a lot of people on the internet and in real life and 50% of them said smaller and 50% of them said bigger
    I want to lose weight with the teen, male, fat loss program and also to make my butt smaller but im afraid that I'm gonna end up with a big butt.
    Please I need specific information and answers from someone who really knows...

    Girls love big butts, brah.

    However, there are a lot of different variables. BUT, since you are trying to cut weight, chances are your ass won't get any bigger and more than likely get smaller as you progress through your cut.

    They definitely will make your butt more lifted. As for getting bigger or smaller, I think that depends on what kind of glute work you do, and definitely how your diet is.

    Ahhh... I think it depends on whether you are fat or not. If you are fat, it will get more toned, and smaller. If you are skinny, it will get more toned, and bigger. If you are a mesomorph, it just gets more toned and muscular. Any way you slice it, your butt improves. Go squat.

    The squat will make everything bigger - your legs, butt and waist, for example. That doesn't mean you'll look like a freak after sometime. Unless you have an abnormally large butt, I wouldn't worry about it. SHUT UP & SQUAT.

    Programs typically aren't designed for age, weight, fat loss...etc. your diet dictates all that. Without even following the link, that program loses a great deal of credibility.

    Squats do work your glutes as well as your quads & hamatrings. Now assuming you re doing things right you re going to gain at least some muscle in your glutes (bigger butt) however if you keep losing fat your butt will get smaller. As simple as that


    Gaining a pound of lean muscle mass on your butt should be the last of your concernes though, focus on building muscle & shredding bodyfat. I gurantee you ll look much better even with a somewhat more muscular butt

    Your ass shape is largely genetic and has mostly to do with how your body carries fat. Your ass is like 90% fat. Squats and proper nutrition will make your GLUTES bigger. But you will have gained likely 10 to 20 pounds of overall mass before you would even notice your glutes getting bigger.

    This question may sound stupid but there is something I don't get here, if you ass is as you said like 90% fat (although I don't know if in my case it's fat or muscle, when I tense it, it gets solid) and you do squats with a proper nutrition in order to lose weight, shouldn't it make your GLUTES smaller, because you lose fat and your ass has fat ?

    Your diet will dictate what happens....not whether you squat or not. If you're asking whether you should squat, the answer is definitely that you should, it's the single most effective exercise there is if done properly. You may gain a slight amount of muscle mass in that area while on a cutting diet, but it'll be more than offset in the grand scheme of things by the fat loss.
