Same here, got a turbo S15 but want an evo 6/7 as second car at some point.. one test drive in an evo 6 got me hooked.

Someone aware me on why the evo X sucks. I see them for sale every now and then and a lot of the time they are cheaper than a 9 or even an 8. Do they not respond well to mods?

From what I have seen it's because they moved away from the tried and true 4G63 which was used in every evo 1-9 while the 4B11 in the evo 10 will only be used in the evo 10 since they are moving to a hybrid motor of some sort with the next generation evo. Also, the evo 10 is a lot bigger than the previous models.

Just picked it up a month ago. Needs a little bit of tlc here and there (front lip has typical scratches, tint is bubbled). Other than that it's in great condition and runs great.

Was out racing the other evening, and had my worst ass whooping handed to me by an evo owner. My car isn't exactly a straight line car (E92 M3 built for road racing/twisties), but it def hangs with most modded street cars in the straights. The evo had a high comp 2.4, built head w/ 272 cams, 67mm @ 32psi and tuned on E85. Thing just left me...... Was very impressed. Outside of stock evos (which i murder) The only other evo i have raced that put up a good fight was a FP black and he did ok, still pulled him pretty good though.
