to think that its possible to make something of this sort of quality with nothing but your own hands and some tools (he probably made half the tools himself anyway) is just amazing. too often nowadays everything is done by machines, and this sort of art is dying out, misc. this video demonstrates this guys incredible skill. definately buying my next axe from him (if my Gransfors Bruks ever breaks)
EDIT: if you're interested in looking at his website, go to www.autinetools.com/eu instead of the one mentioned at the end of the video. he has since created a new company, Autine tools.

hell, if i had the skills of this guy, and could make enough money off of it to stay afloat, i'd do even these days. plenty of people willing to pay lots of money for quality tools like these. i think most of this guys stuff goes for upwards of $200. $300's for the larger tools.

plenty of people are willing to, although it is a small community that buy this sort of stuff. im definately going to buy my next mid sized bushcraft axe from this guy if my Gransfors Bruks Small Forest Axe ever breaks...i'd be more than happy to pay the $250 for one of his.

im not sure about his fathers/grandfathers occupation, but he did start this business himself with the aim of making it a family business. not sure if any of that stuff was in his family, but he's fairly young, so i doubt he went out and just bought it all. idk, he talks a bit about it on his new website, http://autinetools.com/en
