The front carpet should have a Velcro pad/disk. You can use a flathead or penny to twist it and it will pop out. Weathertech should have included hooks to put in their place when you got the mats. Best of luck with those rears. If they came rolled you can try to roll them up the other way and leave them for a few days. (Mine were shipped flat)

my e90 330i blew its waterpump apparently at highway when i was driving to meet my tinder match
thanks beemer
First starter engine 2 months ago, now this. For ****s sake.
Scanned the car for faults after 1 month of owning, no any codes back then for anything, iv had this car for about 7 months now. Well just a bad luck i guess. For each and every time your failures will craft you, until fear of them is gone.

N/A E90s will run forever. The early E90 models especially have faulty water pumps. First time buyer of an E90 325i/328i/330i should get that replaced immediately especially if the PO didn't have any record of it.
They only made the E90 330i for one year, 2006. Would buy/10
This. Buddy bought his E90, first thing he did was dish out the extra money for to get the water pump replaced at a shop, hasn't had a single problem*BMW M3 Crew*

What's up brahs? Any of the bimmer crew like the older stuff?
Im back in a BMW picked up an E36 M3 Sedan today for cheap af to share DD and track duties with my Porsche 944. Last bmw before this was an E34 540I 6 speed.
So far its an awesome ride for the money and listening to that straight 6 S52 at full song is magic.

5 speed. I dont know how to drive auto.
couple chitty pics right after i bought it. Lookin better now cleaned and conditioned leather and i just clay barred it and waxed it restored all the black trim etc.
Took it to the track friday night pretty much as is. The understeer is just awful. First thing I am doing is getting rid of the stock staggered wheels for a lightweight squared setup and some good rubber.

Got a squared setup with sticky tires on the ol M3. 17x9 Konig Ultraforms with Kumho Ecsta V720 in 245/40/17. Wheels are within a lb of Apex Arc-8s,also flow formed and were 1/2 the price. They look better than half as good imo. Win. Couldnt stomach shelling out 2/3 what I paid for the car for wheels/tires...this way its only almost 1/2 lel.. Center caps arent on in the pic.

Need some opinions/advice, don't have much experience buying cars. Been looking at a 428i https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/nvn/...511585764.html white on red, low KM. The only thing it doesn't have that I realllllllyyyy want is the harman kardon sound system. The only regret I had with my current car was not getting the premium sound system. That's listed at $34900, keep in mind CAD not USD, and I had him considering $30,000. Good price or can I get it lower?
Also, more importantly: Does anyone have experience upgrading to aftermarket sound systems? I've never done it but have heard stories/am worried about people fukcing around with (and ****ing up) the wiring and causing other electronics to have issues. Should I purchase this and skip the premium audio, but later upgrade my own? Or just wait until I can find a white on red with the premium sound system.ASOT Crew

Love the red interior (that's actually what I really wanted, the red interior definitely commands a premium on the used market), but personally I'd hold out for one that has both premium sound and more importantly IMO M-Sport Package (those were my two must haves). M Sport package alone is worth holding out for IMO - looks a lot more impressive, awesome steering wheel, and the suspension always feels very planted. I don't think the M Sports are much higher of a price, just less of them on the market.
I got my 2014 435i M Sport for ~$25k for reference (60k miles)Last edited by SouthDakotaBrah; 03-05-2018 at 08:01 AM.

Hifi system isn’t as bad as people make it out to be. There are drop in replacements for the speakers. Seems like most people go bavsound, which are suppose to be an upgrade over the HK. Will be doing it during their Black Friday sale.
Personally, i’d also look around for an m-sport.

Car broke on teh track tonight. First time on a flat bed for this G ride.
Fan lost at least 3 of its blades, the upper part of the fan shroud is broken off and one of the flying blades put a hole somewhere in the cooling system havent had chance to pinpoint it yet. Not sure if the motor mounts are no good and it flexed enough to hit or the fan let go first or possibly the shroud broke first(unlikely)? Guess its a good time to convert to e-fan.
The great part about tracking your car you learn its weaknesses real fast. On the plus side for the couple runs I did I shaved 1.5 seconds off my best time with the chit tires. thats a win.
