Why so much? I go once a week, Monday nights only. Its less then a mile from my house, the service has never been less then awesome, the food has never been off and I can make any damn burger I want up to 1lb in size with almost anything I want bun to bun and its not terribly pricey either. Living this close is dangerous I'd say, I'm tempted to go daily honestly.

Hmm, I guess I'd still say going to the same restaurant once a week is a lot IMO. but if you enjoy it, it's all that matters. But then again, maybe I'm just biased because my ex-roommate worked at slaters and brought home the same food every night. (and told me kitchen horror stories).

Huh? I live in probably one of the most diverse areas (food wise).

I frequent restaurant row every weekend (san marcos). Think it's purely coincidence that the posts you see are from "chains". I actually prefer non-chain restaurants, but the SO prefers otherwise.

Yea? We live pretty close, we should go in to business together

My last bar from the 'stash' posted a while back...

Michel Cluizel - 1er Cru Maralumi

    Price: $8.70 CAD
    Weight: 70g

This is part of Cluizel's single plantation line (1er Cru), with all the beans coming from a plantation in Papua, New Guinea. It's got a fruity aroma and a really nice mouthfeel, although it takes time for the chocolate to melt into it's smooth, creamy consistency. In terms of taste, this bar hit me a bit weirdly; at first, I got a lot of fruitiness, the sweeter, berry type, and there was a bit of acidity to it. But while eating the last few pieces, it tasted a lot deeper, like dried fruits (prune, date, fig, apricot, etc.). This is the first time my perception has changed so much while eating a bar. Nonetheless, it was still great. It was interesting eating it side-by-side with the Porcelana (Valrhona) and Chuao (Amedei), which I definitely preferred to this, and then with the Noir Abinao (Valrhona), which was definitely below this. So in terms of how I'd rank it relative to recent bars... there you go. Overall, my opinion of Cluizel stays the same... one of the best out there, but not the best. 8/10
