Here's tonight's culinary adventure:
Home made Steak and Mushroom Pie with chips (regular potatoes for me and sweet potatoes for my GF) & broccoli
Two hours cooking & prep time in the end. We had some fun adding separate spices to the chips - never quite realised how simple chips are to make!
BONUS PICTURE: Early prep stage in my tiny kitchen, featuring my favourite apron! It's not normally that messy...I promise!
I used this recipe for the pie if anyone's interested: http://www.allrecipes.co.uk/m/recipe...steak-pie.aspxThings I'm good at: Eating lasagna, karaoke & folding clothes.

Thanksgiving plate 1
Turkey covered in black-eyed pea salsa and guacamole, sweet corn, twice cooked potatoes, two pork tamales. Had some flour tortillas and more tamales. Then for dessert had half of a pumpkin roll and some buckeyes. So good, wish I had taken pics of the desserts.
