    Cycling: Killing my gains?

When i to the gym, typically cycling is my way of transportation. Its 14 miles total, there and back. I go pretty fast and pedal hard because i ride a road bike meant for long distances. Now i always here about "cardio killing your gains" after a workout and that i should avoid it. But cycling is different than jogging, and its a 25-30 minute ride. After lifting weights, is it a good idea to do this? Will this cycling effect my muscle gains?

If you're really worried about it, you could look into "Blast 'n Cruise" instead.

But, seriously, all you need to think about is your Post (bi)Cycle Therapy. This should consist of some calories (a couple of hundred I guess) that will compensate for the energy used in your exercise.

Im on the exact same boat as you. Cycling is my main form of transportation whether it be to and from work, the gym etc. Just make up for it with more calories, preferably carbs.

Shouldn't be a problem, only thing it will do is use more calories which could be used to help put on mass. Just eat more to account for it, or take a protein/high carb/calorie shake after you are done in the gym before the ride home.
    I always rep back.
