The "extra volume squat" option wasn't on there when I ran Candito (not that I would have done it). Looks fun.
in4 pump inducing, DOMs producing 305x10 + Volume work.
Ever try deficit SLDL for a deadlift variant?Squat: 515x1
Log C&P: 300x1

Candito's 6 Week Program
Cycle 1
Week 2 - Muscular Conditioning / Hypertrophy
Back Squat
305lb x 10 - (Max Reps up to 10 reps)
305 x 5 Sets x 3 Reps - 60 Second Rest - was pretty easy, sets 4 and 5 were decent difficulty. Forgot to add 5lb though.
Deficit Deadlift
315lb x 3 Sets x 8 Reps
Roman Chair Leg Raise
4 Sets x 12 Reps
305lb x 10
Deficit Deads - 315lb x 3 Sets x 8 Reps
Workout was decently hard. Was expecting it to be much harder though. the next squat workout should be much harder with the 10 x 3 instead of 5 x 3.
Doesn't help that I forgot to add the 5lb after my 10 rep set. whoopsLog

Sorry i'm late but in
I would give deficit SLDL a go man. I've found them to be one of my best auxillary movements that's carried over to my deadlift. I've noticed my speed off the floor has improved big time since including them. Plus they hit your hammies and erectors like crazy.
Those extra volume sets are no joke on week 2. I'm not looking forward to mine haha.
Good work boss.My training log: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=178464441
