Italian Chicken Recipe (1 gram of carbs)

Had this last night, it was really good! Definitely going to be part of my regular meals. Sorry for not taking a pic, I devoured it so fast, totally forgot to. When I make it again, I'll add a pic to this post. Enjoy!

    - 1lb Chicken Breast
    - 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
    - 1 egg (lightly beaten)
    - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    - 1/2 teaspoon salt
    - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    - 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    - 2 tablespoons olive oil

    Directions:

    1. Whisk egg, the 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper in a small bowl. Combine & mix the garlic powder, black pepper, parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning in another small bowl. Dip each chicken breast half into egg mixture, turn to coat all sides evenly. Then dip into parmesan cheese mixture, turning to coat all sides evenly. Gently shake off any excess mixture.

    2. Heat olive oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet. Cook chicken (uncovered) in hot oil for 10 to 12 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink, turning once. The coating should be a nice golden brown color.

You can serve with steamed broccoli or any other veggie you like.

    Macros (Chicken recipe):

    Protein: 107 grams
    Fats: 36 grams
    Carbs: 1 gram
