    Monster cookie- A

Now before you wonder what the heck Blue Bunny an A let me explain. I'm a huge peanut butter fan, especially in ice cream so the fact that this flavor comes in at 180ish calories (I do believe) and its a peanut butter base with fudge swirl and cookies it landed an A with me. I usually don't take nutrition into account but for this one I couldn't help it.

The overall best part besides the lower than usual calories in this peanut butter ice cream is the fact that the cookies are whole complete cookies with M&M like candies combined inside. These cookies have remained slightly firm and almost crunchy which is something I haven't come across yet in an ice cream and it was quite good. The fudge swirl although thin, is a nice addition and who doesn't like a swirl incorporated I mean c'mon?

Going in reverse now the base. The base is peanut butter of course and while it isn't the strongest peanut butter base it is definitely strong enough to be classified as a job well done in my book. Of course this ice cream wasn't as dense as some of the other super premiums out there but in all honesty it's not that far off in texture and quality. This is probably one of my favorite peanut butter themed flavors next to What A Cluster.

    Macadamia Nut Cookie-B

The part that got me excited upon opening the lid on this container was the ever so unique macadamia nut cookie base. What in the world? Exactly what I thought when I heard about this ice cream but surprisingly they landed it pretty spot on. It's rich and actually tastes like a macadamia nut cookie.

The cookie pieces are whole and are actual macadamia nut cookies. The cookies are soft and chewy and carry a strong macadamia flavoring. As for quantity I feel they could have incorporated a little bit more but hey not every container is the same and I'm fully aware of that.

Overall the combined components make a great and unique flavor like nothing on the market currently. It's definitely worth a go if your a fan of the cookie and I guarantee you won't be disappointed if you are.

The winner between the two cookie creations would have the be monster cookie but macadamia nut wasn't to far behind.

feeling the blue bunny love I really like their ice cream and mix ins are real good as well MAcros are good too

I want to try monster cookie and bunny tracks
I like Peanut butter Panic a ton !!

The texture while isn't on par with a super premium the taste to me personally was superior to milk and cookies and cookie dough. I'm a peanut butter fan though. My choice of ice cream if presented would be peanut butter 8 out of 10 times.
To someone else cookies and cream style or cookie dough with a vanilla base might be more to their preference.
I should have taken more pics but yes mix ins were pretty plenty in my container as well. Give a few variants a shot, I'd recommend the cookie creations first then pb panic or cake variation.

I believe it's just a regular cookie but instead of chips they use M&M style candies.,

I like Nick and Dubba as people. Talk to Nick via twitter, and listen to Dubba (and others) "junkfood" podcast sometimes...but I too rarely agree with their ice cream reviews. Nice to get other opinions though especially since they definitely arent jaded toward non-premiums (which I often frequent)

I'm in complete agreement with you.

It's clear that there's a clear lack of sophistication on their part. It's like an expert craftsman and a college kid reviewing a beer. I've seen them give stellar reviews for some products that I found very, very lacking.

In my book, yes. They're both at the bottom of my A-ratings, but still. I really enjoyed all three varieties I had.
I'm not blaming you at all, just saying that I disagree with the ice cream king around here heh. I enjoy reading your reviews and agree with almost all of your ratings, just not this one. I agree that if this was in a pint form it would be a hit because you could savor each element individually, but in sandwich form the chocolate cookies overwhelm the ice cream.

I only have 3 flavors left to scoop currently available for B&J's.. Pistachio Pistachio being the one I picked up today = NOT excited at all man! I hope it surprises me..

    And some reviews

Blue Bell Banana Pudding - Good mellow base and the whipped topping was a nice touch, but the vanilla wafer mixins were lacking. B
Blue Bell Rockslide Brownie - Agree with most people here. Marshmallows overpowered the brownies but overall a good flavor. B+
    B&J PBC (rescoop) - Still great! - A

Cracked open WAC first today bc it's been a while since I've revisited my all-time fav. It didn't disappoint. Still #1 by a healthy margin. Can't wait to open TH Graham Slam tomorrow.

Bob, that looks like an awesome pint of CH (my 2nd fav B&J). Meant to pick up a pint of that today too but they were sold out.

Decided I'd try the only non-candy blizzard that I haven't tried from DQ - Hawaiian.

I have to say, that despite it being nothing amazing I was pleasantly surprised. We don't have the biggest selection of ice cream here, so this was a nice change to the usual candy or sweet infused concoction. The coconut, and other fruit was seemed fairly fresh and gave the plain vanilla ice cream a pleasant flavour.

The best part though was probably the fairly low calorie count, with a medium being only 590 calories. It easily filled my want of ice cream without decimating my calories for a day.

I'd recommend the Hawaiian to anyone who likes fruit, or wants a fairly low cal ice cream choice.

I actually really enjoyed it. Also, Kowalski's is one of the two places in MN you can find Jenis. You can also find it at sewerts co-op, or however you spell it. That being said there are 3 kowalski's in MN.

^^^ This. After all, I'm sure the package mandates that you enjoy it with some of Breyer's Finest.

Also, you should label it with a big fat "F".

I only have 3 flavors left to scoop currently available for B&J's.. Pistachio Pistachio being the one I picked up today = NOT excited at all man! I hope it surprises me..
Dont waste your time on a subpar sounding flavor.
