Double Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip
Okay, I'm spoiling this and telling you the grade: A+. Fantastic ice cream. Amazing base. It's perfectly creamy and is tied for #1 PB ice cream with Jeni's buckeye state. Not that it tastes like it, the two couldn't be more different, but it is just that good. I am a huge fan of whatever the Hybrid French Pot process is and recommend that other ice cream companies step it up a bit. Ridiculous PB mixins that are reminiscent of HD PB Pie (not as big, but the quality of the PB is better) that pepper the entire pint. The chips are great, too- I think they're the same chips as in the salted caramel but don't suffer from the slight bitterness that those seem to have, possibly because of the difference in the textures of the bases. The SCC is more like a gelato, the DPBCC is more of a creamy base. Who knows? I don't, and I especially don't care because this ice cream is in my top 3, if not #1. I am really struggling to think of an ice cream I'd rather eat than this one and coming up blank.
Overall, my experience with McConnell's has been great. Fantastic customer service and a great response to a person who got a bad pint. I have to respect that in a company and the fact that their product is actually good makes this review so much easier to write. If you see McConnell's, give it a chance. They've definitely won me over as a customer.

Hit up a local place calle kilwins and ha their salted caramel. Average. Swirl and truffles were good but not prevalent enough. Base was vanilla and would prefer caramel.
Went to target and a publix but no flavors we don't have at home. Saw both new targets but left them trying to find a flavor I can't ever find. No luckPL Log

McConnell's looks like the real deal! Holy cow is right! All those flavors look incredible and from what you've told us they are truly a company who likes to satisfy their customers! That Dark Chocolate Paso Brittle packs 11g protein per serving?! and 44g/pint smash. Can't complain about that!

Cinnamon Buns. A. The girl that looks good in anything. The Grand Canyon of B&J's. If I had one ice cream to eat for the rest of my life, it might just be Cinnamon Buns.

Actually funny you mention that, your the second person who recommended that this week. A girl I was hanging with said she grabs a container with her friends like every other weekend they split it and it was that good. Only thing that strayed me was the lack of cake pieces, but I think 2 times noted is a sign so I'll scoop it.
Would rep for rec^ but on spread : /On that getting bigger status.

Found the elusive limited "Take the Cake" Light ice cream from Edy's finally (in its last few days no less). Being that im a junkie for all cake ice creams I really wanted to give this one a shot. Its decent for what it is, pretty authentic cake base, plenty of confetti sprinkle pieces, and a considerable amount of frosting (albeit one of the worst frosting swirls Ive encountered). The classic frozen cool whip and lighter than air texture definitely left something to be desired, and it lacked richness due it being a light offering... It definitely doesn't "take the cake", but It was fun putting down 1.5 quarts of it. I wont be sad to see it leaving shelves (and hopefully being replaced with peppermint stick soon!). overall I give it a C-

Went to a place called Uncle D's Ice Cream in Secaucus, NJ. Had Dusty Road (cookies & cream, but the base is cake batter instead of vanilla) and Reese's Pieces (pb ice cream with reese's pieces). Both were solid. Dusty Road looked exactly like a normal cookies and cream but was sweeter. I didn't think I would, but I prefer the cake batter base to the standard vanilla. The Reese's ice cream had a good pb base and the mix-ins were better than expected because they were not frozen hard. Wouldn't go out of my way to go here but would stop by if I'm in the area again.

Revisited Rockin Blondie last night. Did not enjoy it at all. Tastes like nothing.
Had some Graeter's PB pretzel instead; pretty decent flavor, thought the pretzels need to be larger and probably saltier. I give it an A-, as the PB base and pretzels were definitely rich, enjoyable, and well above average, though isn't exactly a Chubby Hubby or Buckeye Blitz.
