what are your thoughts exactly on dendrobium nobile, in more certain terms?

I'm gonna reserve comments for now, but here's a pm I got from a supplier trying to figure out how to improve his 20:1 dendrobium extracts [I've bolded what appears to be a rather common problem]....

We are the true manufacturer of dendrobium extract. In China, the most popular spec of dendrobium extract is 10:1 or 20:1, we are one of only a few manufacturers of the standardized extract of dendrobium. We standardized the total alkaloids up to 1%, 5% and 20%.

I am writing to you to inquire which is the most PEA from.... or where the stimulant effects come from. Dendrobium from other suppliers have no effects on testers, and there are many cheaters out there. Could you help us?

Too many supplement companies are using it, and manyof them are my clients.
I have been focusing on Dendrobium extract since last April when DMAA is suspended by the FDA.

Many inquiry for dendrobium extract, and send out too many samples to supplement companies. But the real effects are not good. Only ratio extract is available in China. Even those who claimed to be able to manufacture the standardized dendrobium extract 1% alkaloids, but the quality varies. Do you know the color of the real dendrobium extract 1%? Some are brown, some are brown yellow, and some even white. The quality is not guaranteed and the effects not not meet the requirement of many of my clients. Just like Patrick arnold said, dendrobium extract may be the red herring ingredient in many sports nutrition formulas.

By the way, a list of supplements containing dendrobium extract is attached for you guys.

Did you even read the darn title? I know that PrimaForce isn't the first to include Dendro in a supplement. But the key word is "BULK", which you could take as "stand-alone" ingredient.

All it says in PF's Dendro bulk is "Dendrobium Nobile (Stems and Aerial Parts) Extract". Stems and Aerial parts are pretty vague. Are these even the alkaloids?

No those are the specific physical parts of the plant that they extracted the product from

I've tried 5 different products that has dendrobium in it but only Craze and Detonate had dem good feels but Craze and Detonate both contains Dendrobex. Not saying that Dendrobex has illicit ingredients in it, but there's something in there that is making it work so well.

25:1 extract. It will cost you about 4 bucks a month to use. My comment, since No Hype likes running around everywhere, was to take it with your current pre workout and judge the difference for yourself. Let others do it, if they say it doesn't work, don't buy it. We tested it on its own prior to make the decision to run it (which was over 6 months ago). We used Novem as the base and would take it with and without it. We felt there was noticeable difference.

Now, if companies posting in this thread want to get into a "what ingredient works" type of argument, I'm all for it. However, we all know bodybuilding.com won't allow that.

I definitely trust Primaforce...as Mike's always brought high quality ingredients to the market for consumers. This is not to be meant as a knock, but Mikes never really been about the "hype" of new ingredients just to make a buck. Most of his products are more simple and effective than anything IMO....and that's a good thing.

Dendrobex is a proprietary formula of more than one derivative, so you can't sell it in "bulk"
