    Depression next day after a workout ?

    Does anyone get depressed the next day after working out? sometimes i do and i wish i knew the reason, what should i do and eat to stop this feeling, do i need more carbs straight after my workout?

    You could be in an overtrained state from chronic under eating or poor training protocols. How much are you eating and what's your routine?

    Do you have aches and pains? Do you feel drowsy and tired all the time? Need you to be more detailed ere.

    I usually feel like this after a nice hard workout and I don't eat properly on the day and don't get enough sleep.

    So maybe, just watch your diet and get more sleep then you usually do?
