I have recently been called on for a polygraph test for the the Border Patrol and it has opened my eyes that I have slacked big time on getting in shape kept using the excuse that they are taking forever on my background investigation so procrastinated a lot. So on Monday I went for my first run in a while and damn did I suck and had my second run a little while ago and even though it is only 2 days later I managed to run 3x the distance thanks to getting more sleep, no drinking alcohol, and better food intake. I'm at 6' even and 275lbs while that is crazy overweight I am normally a big guy I carry the weight a lot better than most people would probably because I was an athlete 6-7 years ago when in high school sports. I will be uploading pics and other stuff later just wanted to introduce myself and maybe use this thread as even more motivation to get on the right track. I really don't know much about nutrition beyond the basics so any and all help on that would be greatly appreciated. My goal is to be down to about 225-230lbs and the way my body is built I think that would be a good place to asses on how I should continue from there if and when I do hit my goal. Wish me luck
