    ISSA nutrition certification

Does anybody have this? Is it worth getting?

I've though about expanding my knowledge in the area of nutrition. What will I gain from this course? It's pretty hefty in terms of price. I don't know if I want to drop $500 on this.... Having a background nutrition will help /w my clients in regards to eating habits and dieting.

I think its worth it. I have not gained it yet, but I am planning on taking it. It seems more thorough than the CFT textbook, so I think it is well worth it. What are you hoping to learn from it?

ACE has a fitness nutrition cert. I'd get that personally. ACE is much more respected across the board vs ISAA.

Widely accepted, but so is ISSA. You'll get more out of ISSA, even the description of the two courses tells you so. OP: Maybe you can preview the first chapter on their website.

I personally find them both great certs to have. I have a few threw NESTA and they were good for basic information. I would take one of the two if you can afford it.
