    10 day vacation... got fat... now what?

    I took 10 days off from work, working out, and macros. All that beer did me dirty and now I'm left with a belly not unlike santa's bowl full of jelly. I was on a clean bulk; if I continue to bulk, won't the fat just stick with me until I decide to cut? Would it be ill advised to cut until I've burned off the fat I gained then resume bulking?

    Continue doing what was working for you before vacation. Go about your normal routine.

    I just came back from 6 days in Mexico, the scale went up 8 lbs. I came home continued with my normal things and it took 4 days for the scale to go right back to where it was when I left. You didn't gain as much fat as you think, don't panic.

    You could be bloated, that could be your problem.

    I dont understand my caloric intake... I'm 166 lbs, and I regularly eat about 3700 calories. If I eat 4500-5000+ I'll see like a 1lb gain in a day. But I can cut at 2500 the next day and drop the 1lb by the following day.

    The 1000 calories of food you're adding/omitting probably weigh close to 1lb, so you can guess where the weight is getting dropped from...

    Yeah its more a function of, I'm shocked I need such high calories to bulk (relative to my size and weight). I didn't think I was that active
