I don't know, but I presume that Layne can at least seek to recover legal fees, which likely amount to a significant sum of money.

Not saying that Layne is cherrypicking language, but it should be simple enough to make it available as a .pdf. I assume it is only a couple of pages. I am a little confused as to whether Jason offered some justification, but that the judge determined that it was not credible, or whether Jason really offered nothing.

So, at some point in the future, when the docket allows, another judge will decide how much Jason will have to pay. My memory of the pleadings is that Layne was seeking damages from the defamation, and also attorneys' fees and costs. My guess is that this will be no less than $10,000.

He tried to play the system but the system played him. Very immature attacking Layne for no apparent reason other than to attract viewers. That's his channel consists of, regurgitated information and displays of how immature he is.

He is quite arrogant too, and for the life of me I have no idea why. He is nearly 40. Bald (no offence Masster!). Not in very good shape, even though he is constantly on hormones and other drugs. Unemployed. No children. Lives in a dainty flat. Doesn't appear to have many real life friends, although I am merely speculating based on what I've seen. If I was his friend I'd give him a serious wake up call and tell him to sort his life out.

I'm woefully ignorant of the laws, but it seems that whoever was/is the owner of the channel should be still be responsible for what they publish.
