I'm fine with protecting christmas and this bill doesn't seem that bad. I'm not fine with *******s like Rick Perry trying to set our country's religious freedom back 100 years with their rhetoric and actions. I love Texas, but I beg Texans to keep Rick Perry and his ilk in the state.

all politics aside, texas has done well through a recession because it is business friendly and individual friendly. no state income taxes, huge incentives for businesses to come here. back in the day, "liberal" california used to make movies in that same state. however, "liberal" california has made it impossible for that to continue. that's why breaking bad went to new mexico and so many movies and tv shows are shot in canada. the conservative issues, including protecting a christian influence, are definitely prevalent, but there are plenty of liberal laws here too. overall, the citizens lean right, but i know many people of both political stripes.
proud texan (by choice, not by birth) checking in. i live here because it's a good cost of living, the people are friendly, the weather is better than northern snowstorms, and the women are hot as fuarrkkk. i'll take any random 5 women off a dallas street in comparison to a random 5 women off any other street in the world. dallas goes strong, just like the rest of the state.+positive crew+
