I really like Nicks this year as his ADP slips - I know "contract year" is a bit overstated but I think Nicks is a guy who will suck it up for a contract
trade one ofc
I believe in both, Nicks a bit more because of contract year status. Nicks will have little things all year but I think he will play through it and have a good year... I see no reason to not target Garcon either.3K+

What is your cutoff point for the RB you feel comfortable with? Either at RB2 or flex if you have one. I'm in a 12 man league with a flex so there's the potential of 36 starting RBs, a few people do end up starting WRs at that spot so let's say 32 starting RBs. For me the last RB I really like at my flex is Sproles, possibly Ivory depending on how the rest of camp goes. I think this leaves very little wiggle room to work with and banking on the WR value after handling the RB situation. There are a lot of RBs I like a lot but don't trust them starting. This puts me in the position of going RB in 3/4, maybe 3/5 rounds. I don't know how realistic this will be depending on where I draft.

So need advice on this
Guy dropped Stafford to the waivers
My team 6th waiver priority
Romo
Calvin
Vjax
Danny
Sjax
Ridely
Bennet
Bush
miles austin
darren sproles
tampa mike
Giovanni
Vereen
Prater (den kicker)
NE DEF/SEP
Do I use the waiver and try to get him? is it worth it the upgrade? or if so do I drop Romo or drop the kicker or who? 1 guy in my league is starting Big Ben so he might be interested in a QB upgrade but not sure. That means to me that Staff will not clear the waivers.
Advice?

so i get to take one keeper and give up the round i picked them in last year. so do i give up my second rd. pick for AJ green or give up my 4th rounder for Trent Richardson? leaning trent. also new strategy is to not draft any players hobbled by injuries the past few years. last year i had nicks and DMC and got phucked so many times
This is sweet. Camera crews are setting up, and I'm lookin' totally ripped. Beefcake. Beefcake.

Fuk I'm the 8th pick in an 8-man league. Just did a mock draft and took Spiller and Ray Rice with my first two picks. The quality of rb's drops off pretty drastically after the first few picks.

I was thinking sproles before I even saw you say it. For me I prefer having a RB in my flex spot. I have been burnt too often with WRs in the flex and so RBs, in my mind are safer. Of course I could be wrong.
Picking at the 11th in a 12 man I typically go RB, RB, WR, RB depending on which RBs are there in the 3/4. If sproles + a few more RBs are there I will go WR with my 3rd pick. I typically end up with something along the lines of having a morris/mccoy RB1, Forte/Jackson rb2. If there is a lack of RBs I will reach for sproles in the 3rd.
If there is a lack of RBs then WRs fell so by my 4th pick I still have the option of someone lke Fitz, Andre Johnson, White, V. Jackson as my WR1 which I am comfortable with.
With the homers in my league picking QBs early and probably someone taking graham early, I should be able to have a decent WR2 also. Of course things could change over the next few weeks if RBs I am uncertain about look more promising.
Think about it this way, Green is usually going int he second anyway so you could be gaining nothing by keeping him. However you took Rich int he 4th and this year he is going in the 1st, rarely the second if he falls.
You will gain more by keeping Rich losing your 4th round pick.

Had our offline draft last night before we all leave for school, came away with this.
QB Drew Brees
RB Reggie Bush
RB David Wilson
WR Calvin Johnson
WR Dez Bryant
TE Greg Olsen
FLEX DeMarco Murray
D/ST Seahawks D/ST
K Matt Bryant
EDIT:It was just an 8 man league so most of us had pretty good picks, should be interesting to see how I do though. Wish my RB's were a little bit better but I cant complain.Last edited by Natstokes14; 08-14-2013 at 09:57 AM.

I'm prob in the minority but I'll take Richardson. Bell is pretty low upside as far as talent goes IMO. He reminds me of a guy that is gonna count solely on volume like Ben Jarvus/Shonne Greene last season. With Richardson he has some true get around the edge speed and Pead is already coughing up the ball in preaseason.
So while Bell may have a slightly higher floor(and even then I really don't think its that much) I think Richardson's ceiling is much higher. Since its a later pick I'll take the fly on RichardsonI have no idea why I came back
