While I agree with some of Asprey's recommendations, he is the ULTIMATE broscientist who never seems to be able to back up his claims with any studies or anything, which annoys the **** out of me. BD is just another variation of Paleo. You'll be healthy and lose fat, but don't buy in to all of his ludicrous claims.

There's nothing wrong with saturated fat.
Science hasn't supported the diet-heart hypothesis, ever.
Eating fat doesn't make you fat.
Cholesterol isn't bad.
Saturated fat isn't bad.
Ever notice how obesity/heart disease exploded when everyone started consuming low fat foods? There's a reason. Low fat/no-fat foods are filled with sugar.
Trans fats are the enemy.Last edited by sknot1454; 06-04-2013 at 04:01 PM.

Rogan is the king of broscience these days, his brain seems to be in rapid deterioration. Sucks, because he used to be one of the few popular figures that actually seemed excited about science, now he is on his way to becoming another wastrel like Jenny McCarthy.
When all that says 'it is good' has been debunked, what says 'I want' remains.

lol.
Joe is on tons of HGH AND test, thats why he looks like he does. He's open about it. He's insecure about it so he pretends it's about bringing his levels back to normal, but then admits he takes way more test than the average dude, so he's all over the place/doesn't really understand what he's saying or doing.
He is jacked in spite of his dumb pseudo intellectual routine/diet opinion, not because of them.

lol ya i heard him say he thought venison was the best tasting meat, and then you could see the wheels turning as he then tried to convince himself that, lucky him, venison is also the most healthful meat bc deer are fast.
Dude is legit retarded, I'm embarrassed I watched a few of his podcasts a few years back. I was into it for a minute before I figured dude out

While I don't think many people are going to say that Trans fats are good (industrial ones), I think the enemy is always going to be the wrong combination of factors depending on the individual.
Trying to simplify all dietary woes down to one food/macro nutrient is what perpetuates all this bro science bull **** in the first place.
