Actually, they never allowed him back in.

Perhaps the IFBB should worry about fixing the lighting, getting streams going for the shows or not awarding guts and zero posing...........nah we're gonna DQ the most popular bber going into the show.

The judging will always be a bit skewed for whatever reason, but these two things should be a constant at every show.
Seriously how hard is it to get lighting right?

Here's a thought... An official IFBB Pro lighting system that is transported from show to show. Or an identical one for each continent or whatever. Standardization is easy. it's not like it is impossible or anything.

They'd probably also need to build an official IFBB stage and transport it from show to show. Some stages are bigger than others and have different lighting requirements.

The Orleans might be the only challenge with stage size but you really only need to have the lighting consistent on the area of the stage where the competitors are lined up. It could be standardized to groups of 6 or 8. It's really not that difficult. John Balik had his own lighting set-ups wherever he held the Iron Man even at the LA Convention Ctr.

It's an added expense for the promoter to rent additional lighting but if the IFBB had an official lighting system, it wouldn't come out of the promoter's pocket. Seems like something the athletes could request because lots of guys competed in the Iron Man just so they could have good promo shots taken under Balik's lighting.
