So for like the last 5 months i've had this sharp pain between my glute and hamstring on my right leg whenever i do backsquats or deadlifts. It's gotten to the point where whenever i try to do these lifts almost all the weight shifts to my left side and has made lower body training almost impossible. Anyone have experience with this? or witty jokes about having ass pain? thanks

I really don't think it's the hamstring. I thought the same thing when I had the sciatica ( most likely what you have ). Lay off squats and deadlifts for like 2 weeks and see how you feel. If it's still bad then go longer and stretch it. There's tons of youtube videos on how to stretch it
