I'll try to MS paint the set up later but here are the cliffs:

- gobbler was sounding off around a little point
- OP sets up on a 4 wheeler trail about 400 yds from bird
- Heavy scratchin on the trail so i knew the hens liked to feed there
- set up deke on trail and tuck back in against a stump/fallin down tree lookin down the trail towards deke
- mouth called every 5 minutes for about 20 min.
- hear leaves rustle right beside me behind fallin down log
- turn head backwords and the bobcat was already in flight coming at my face
-hit me right in the side of my face/Epic Beard
-glasses saved my eye
-Beard saved my aesthetics
-threw bobcat like hulk throwing grizz




ok, kiddin about that part but by the time i got up with my gun reaady to shoot...it was gone. Never heard it..or saw it running. Like a ghost in the darkness brahs...dead fkn srs.

Bobcats would still destroy someone if in a rage. I've heard stories of friends in tree stands shooting at one and it will literally climb the tree to attack the hunter. I have never seen one while hunting though.

This was a smaller cat...thank god. Had it been a 35-40lber....my face wouldn't be here. I just caught a millisecond glimpse of the face comin at me. and then it was gone.

lol no I meant did they give you a rabies shot in YOUR face? When I got rabies shots, they gave one at the location of the bites...which fortunately for me was fingers...I didn't know if they'd give you one in your face...

they must have gotten better with the process - I got them about 10 years ago and it was: 2 in each butt cheek, one in each shoulder, one in each quadricep (that chit hurt), and then 1 at the spot. then you go back after 2 days, 4 days, a week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks.
