    lookingfor solid deadlift routine..

    gonnastart back deadlifting i had quit for about a year....a few yrs back i made great strength gains with madcows 5x5. went from a 5rep max of 295 to 5rep max of 380. anyways right now my 5rm is maybe 305. would u guys recommend goig back and doing something like madcows or something like the ed coan routine? or even something else? thanks!

    you just want dead lift? if you like madcow then stick with it? Never seen someone requesting a program base on if it have dead lift or not...

    anyway I'm doing all pro beginner routine, the SLDL are really different then conventional, if you wanna try that program, its SLDL 3 days a week.

    Coan or Magnusson/Ortmayer if you've been lifting continuously (aside from DL), but your linear gains are slowing down. If you're just getting back into lifting period, maybe start w/ MC for awhile to get back where you were?

    no ive been lifting steady just quit deadlifting awhile. may look into the Coan then. thanks man

    JasonDB's 5x5 is good. Deadlifts are on Workout B, so you do them once/twice a week depending (ABA one week, BAB next, etc.).
