    UPDATE

So I've not lifted all week, but I played a pickup game of basketball yesterday. Dunking Tennis ball with ease.
Lifting tomorrow and have got an idea of how I will modify my program to fit a 3 day lifting week. However I may reduce that to two days due to track season and training coming up.

Well my bench technique is elbows in and arms at shoulder width. Two things which immediately made me start benching more weight is instead of lying flat on your back, maintain an arch in your back and squeeze your traps on the bench

    Thursday- Workout

Good Workout, Strength is finallllly coming back to me - I NEED to do more plyometrics and speed work though.

    Bench Press

    135lbs x 3, 145lbs x 3, 155lbs x 3, 175lbs x 3 PR, 155lbs x 5, 135lbs x5

Very good! Didn't realise I had 175lbs on the bar - if I did I probably wouldn't of got the pr so its all good.

    Squat

    135lbs x 5, 155lbs x 3, 175lbs x 3, 185lbs x 3, 205lbs x 3, 215lbs x 3

Wanted to do more but I had to keep form in mind so I kept it at this. Hope to hit some PR's next week though!

    BW Pullup

    6, 6, 4

    Summary

Enjoyed this workout, weighed in 164lbs this morning, plan to get to 170-175lbs soon and then cut fat down to single digit bodyfat and lean bulk the rest of the year!
    Bench: 255lbs (115kg)

Did another plyometric workout just now along with the growtaller4idiots program, my sister bought it and I told her if it works I'd give her £20, lol lets see if this program is as good as people 'claim', if it is I should be 5'11 by September and 6'0 by my birthday

So I trained today, performed very well. Huge downside is that they play 5 vs 5 until your 17 (junior year) and I really want some full team experience so I can elevate my game, really unsure on what to do. Followers of this log - your input will be much appreciated

As a receiver and DB, you'll get a lot of the experience you need in terms of pas reception and coverage but the running game will be non-existent - at least in terms of blocking.

If it's fun for you, go ahead. Don't quit anything else for it, though.

Yeah I'm going to have to do that I guess. I'm going to see if I can play at junior level next year, get a good highlight tape, go to some combines and see where it goes

Well I want to go as far as possible in American football and if possible I'd want to play overseas, it's been done before and looking at the top corners in the states I think I could get to where there at by the time I'm there age (athletically)

I have seen any number of Australians manage the move to college and to the states. In fact, Jesse Williams came out of the competition I used to play in in Queensland.

You certainly have the physical tools. And with training for several years, you'll manage the athleticism of some of the players. Be warned, though, it's a tough road to hoe for people who don't play in the states. Unis know you haven't had the standard of competition they have and consider that with your tapes.
