Current Stats and Goals
Height: 5'9
Weight: 162lbs
Bench: 180lbs x 1 to 220lbs x 1
Squat: 235lbs x 1 to 300lbs x 1
Deadlift: 286lbs x 1 to 335lbs x 1
Vertical: From Grabbing the Rim to DUNKING
100M:From ~12s to Mid/Low 11s (however acceleration for rugby is more important)
This will be achieved by September 2013, however the 100m sprint goal is for next summer.
Program
The Program I use will be a modified version of TTS Elite which will be run 3 days a week along with 2 Sprint Sessions and one Basketball session where I will sprint and work on my jump also.

Overall a good workout, Pr'd in the Squat and still feel the doms 2 days later, Adding Tuck Jumps was a good explosive aspect of the workout and the intensity was really there. Will start using the TTS Program next weekBench: 255lbs (115kg)

UPDATE
So I've not lifted all week, but I played a pickup game of basketball yesterday. Dunking Tennis ball with ease.
Lifting tomorrow and have got an idea of how I will modify my program to fit a 3 day lifting week. However I may reduce that to two days due to track season and training coming up.

Well my bench technique is elbows in and arms at shoulder width. Two things which immediately made me start benching more weight is instead of lying flat on your back, maintain an arch in your back and squeeze your traps on the bench

Very late with the update but it's exam season in school and I've been buckling down, this is like the first time I've been on my computer this week. Anyways, this is how it went.

Decentish workout. Not gone to the gym all week currently

Wassup people, not checked in fora while. IM STILL HERE. exams have made their way round and I've tried to keep from being distracted so I'm not on this site as much
Some updates are that I hit 75kg (165lbs) for 5 reps on the bench and also hit 95kg for 3 on the squat as well as 140kg (308lbs) on the deadlift. Will get vid of deadlift up soonBench: 255lbs (115kg)

Okay, apologies for inactivity, been so busy lately! Not worked out for over a week so numbers are weak

Speed Squats

Almost jump squats, trying to dunk by September

did some clean pulls with this too
Pendlay Row

After this I did a sprint workout on the field.
Did a few single leg bounds for distance and height and then did some regular sprints.

tried hang cleaning and failed big time, I need to do more of these to help with my jump

Only did Bench and Squat today. Did 165lbs 3x3 on the bench and 195lbs x 3 on the squat, couldn't get to a 3 rep max on the squat as I had to to leave early

Good Workout, Strength is finallllly coming back to me - I NEED to do more plyometrics and speed work though.

Very good! Didn't realise I had 175lbs on the bar - if I did I probably wouldn't of got the pr so its all good.

Lifted on Sunday. Not logging the workout since it was nothing special, on Monday I did a plyometrics session.
Monday - Workout
Very nice session, great activation in glutes, hips and hamstrings.
What I did:
10 ME Jumps w/10lb dumbells
10 Ski Jumps
10 SL Lateral Jumps
2x10 Tuck Jumps
10 Rocket Jumps
10 Pogos

Did another plyometric workout just now along with the growtaller4idiots program, my sister bought it and I told her if it works I'd give her £20, lol lets see if this program is as good as people 'claim', if it is I should be 5'11 by September and 6'0 by my birthday

So I trained today, performed very well. Huge downside is that they play 5 vs 5 until your 17 (junior year) and I really want some full team experience so I can elevate my game, really unsure on what to do. Followers of this log - your input will be much appreciated

I have seen any number of Australians manage the move to college and to the states. In fact, Jesse Williams came out of the competition I used to play in in Queensland.
You certainly have the physical tools. And with training for several years, you'll manage the athleticism of some of the players. Be warned, though, it's a tough road to hoe for people who don't play in the states. Unis know you haven't had the standard of competition they have and consider that with your tapes.
