My First Cut. Need a Lil Help...

    Stats:
5ft 10, 25 years old, 196 lbs. Been lifting for about 2 years.

    Macros:
    Carbs 300
    Protein 300
    Fat 80

I plan to use intermittent fasting (eating window 12-8) and training on an empty stomach. I thought I'd decrease my carbs by 25g each week until they get down to 100g and leave it at that. Cardio I'm gonna do 20 mins brisk walk at the end of every sesh, I'll be gymming 4 days a week.

Anybody got any advice on what I can do to better this plan?

3100+ calories seems a little high for a cut. 300g is a LOT of protein, more than you need or can make use for (nott hat it's bad for you to eat that much, just that it's way more than your body will need).

So would you reccomend starting off with less carbs and protein for overall less calories?

at 196lbs you only need a minium of 160 grams pf protein like above post said its perfectly fine to eat more but 300 is just not needed and 3100 cals for a cut is WAY to much. your fats are at a good level do not go below 80 though.

u need to figure out your calorie maint and then do a 10% deficit. take in 80 grams of fat minimum and 160 grams of protein minimum and the rest of the remaining calories can be distributed to any macro of your choice. ensure you are getting enough veggies and fruit in your diet along with a couple omega 3 fish oil capsules.

have you actually calculated a ballpark number for how many calories you should start off with, or did you just pull 3100 out of thin air?

ok, well a 10-20% caloric deficit from 3200 would be 2560-2880.
this could be a good place to start since you already know your maintenance.
