    iPhone Bro's.

I need an iPhone for my gf. She has a poverty iPhone 4 with 8gb (6.1 it says in settings), and it is MAXED out. I'd like to upgrade her to a 4s or get her a larger 4. if any of you have a 4 or 4s that you don't want to rape me on, I'd be greatly appreciated. She has Verizon and obv. a clean ESN. Maybe datniche or someone else can help an old friend out.

How can you even say this? I'd be surprised if you make more than some of us that take this seriously or if you even do what you said to begin with...

Besides, building PCs and fixing phones over and over is no fun.

Seeing as most services require only skill, or can be outsourced, it is highly possible to be more profitable than traditional retail...Depending on the service and overhead.

For any guys that import items in bulk, how often and detailed do you guys communicate with the supplier? Or is it just place the order and wait for the shipment to come in? Do I have to worry about any taxes if I were to order some small quantity of items from China? Just starting out and I have an idea of what I want to sell, but never done this before.

    Thanks!

    O yea, awesome thread

I thought the area of computer building kind of died since the prices of computers has dropped significantly in the past few years. Good on you if you are still making good coin out of it though.

I'm interested to hear how it goes brah. Is it Niagra falls? I saw an auction there that looks good, weekly estate auctions, and different types of auctions each week.

Has anyone used liquidation.com? I like the prices on some lots, but I am curious about shipping outside of the USA. What makes me nervous is you don't get a true honest shipping quote until after you make the purchase, then you are bound to purchase no matter what. Yeah some guys let you arrange your own shipping but that can be a pain. There is also freight forwarding as an option, I don't know if this is more or less cost effective for someone with a small order

I'm just starting out and I am so full of ideas, and happy to see some people are already using them and making good money (flipping cars on the side, flipping scrap metal to the scrapyards, importing, liquidation auctions, flipping from kijiji to ebay etc). Cool thread bros.

If you have a house and a garage and work from home, consider doing a car every so often if you're even remotely mechanically inclined and have some tools. Buy a book (Hanes Manual) on basic body repairs, you know taking sanding rust out of wheel wells and repainting and using body filler. Learning a few repairs these days is quite easily done on youtube, all I personally lack is the garage space. I hope ebay will supplement my income to the point where me and my gf can move from our apartment to a townhouse with 2 car garage in the next year so i can work on cars as an additional supplement.

Inspiring, I'm in the same boat as you but just started and spending only what I can and making very good profit, but re-investing everything I make pretty much. Making about £1,000 profit per month just from starting out small can't wait until I get into this properly, love it. What is it you sell?

I'm not a pro at this but my advice is: buy and sell things you like and are familiar with. Makes it a lot more fun and it doesn't feel like work. I'm a guitarist so I'm always looking for things in that field to buy and flip. Just bought an effect for $75, should be able to get $250 at the least on ebay for it.

Yeah man I love it, it's so addictive seeing something you bought for cheap sell for so much and seeing good feedback. The best part is that you never have to deal with customers face to face too! I'm so motivated to do it too unlike school/college work I would rather go hang myself.

    Thanks!

    O yea, awesome thread
I ask questions at first talk to the supplier and make sure they understand what I'm looking for and try to communicate pricing and all that good stuff. Once my order is placed I dont really talk to them till I need another order. As for shipping goes yes there is taxes on most items you bring in. A lot of times if its a small order they dont really get checked, but there is a chance you will. If its just some sample items have the seller write sample on it as you shouldn't have to pay on it. If you go to the US customs website you can look up your product and see what the duty tax is.

Someone please post a link to the ebay fees? I am just a beginner right now and get free listings for a few stuff around the house. Is it just the 9%?
