    Is a 160kg (355lb) a good deadlift? Do I even lift?

    Lifted 160kg raw today, no belt just a bit of chalk. Managed 2 clean reps before my form started to slip.

    Everyone in the gym was staring at me as I screamed the bar up to a straight position and then just let it free fall back down. On the second rep I paused slightly with the bar at my thighs and this powerlifting guy was like "come on buddy, it's all you, it's all you." I dropped it and swaggered out the weight room and never unloaded the bar lol

    Is this impressive considering I weighed in at 190lbs today?.

    It's impressive to the average person. Not so much to someone who's been lifting consistently. To give you perspective I pulled 405 weighing around 165.

    It's not mpressive but it's not chit. I lifted 160kg for 2 reps at 75kg when I was lifting for 2 months, but I have above average genetics I guess. It's not impressive for the fact you weigh 190, should be deadkiftibg atleast twice your b.w to be impressive

    That's funny, OP, cuz the other day I was deadlifting and

    Everyone in the gym was staring at me as I screamed the bar up to a straight position and then just let it free fall back down. On the second rep I paused slightly with the bar at my thighs and this powerlifting guy was like "come on buddy, it's all you, it's all you." I dropped it and swaggered out the weight room and never unloaded the bar lol
