Are they any good or are they in general a waste of money? I was looking at oximega greens and the price looks decent but I can't really tell if the amounts of each of the vegetables will even amount to anything or if I should just try to mix all my own shakes. Thanks if anyone has any advice or experience with these supplements - I rarely see them mentioned.

Greens Supplements?

Novaform's CytoGreens is awesome!
Great profile, tastes pretty good. Now it is a greens drink so it wont be like juice. But Acai Berry Green Tea fits the flavor perfectType 1 Diabetic - Since age 15

Green Vibrance all the way. It doubles as potent digestive support with the enzymes complete and heavy dose of probiotics.
My runner up if cost is a concern (and it's just a good value in general when you buy it together with the fish oil), is Oximega Greens.
Combined with a quality multi, a few servings of veggies a day, maybe some D3 supplementation to hit roughly 4000 iu a day, you will be well covered.

OP greens are not a waste, in fact they are one of the best things you can buy for general health, especially if your diet is not super high in greens to begin with.
Here are some of the benefits:

Why is Green Vibrance getting so little love?
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/vi...viberance.html
Stuff is a life saver and I can tell the difference being on it and not being on it. Just look at the profile on that bad boy. Does double duty as a very good probiotic as well.

There seems to be some good recommendations here on this thread. That said, here is a great way to get your greens in naturally, give it a try let me know what you think:

I've tried so many different greens product and the best one that I have tried is CytoGreens by far. This product is like having Phytoberry and Veggegreens by Progressive in one product. Ph balances in your body are extremely important and this product will be sure to do an awesome job of that!

it's not often you see a supplement company rep (or owner in this case) advise someone to get their greens from whole foods, so you are solid in my book

At my age, I am only 6 years older than you, I tend to avoid this as much as possible. At 32, I did not care so much. Maybe I am becoming a hippy, but I prefer cane sugar to artificial sweeteners like aspartame and sucralose. I will use stevia instead if I need to keep calories in check and need to sweeten something.
I guess maybe I am becoming a hippy as I am using veggie caps for my fat burner with not artificial colors or dyes for the capsules.Joey Rodrigues
