Yeah, I wasn't impressed with some of the play calls and certainly wasn't impressed with the penalties. They're still playing sloppy football and there is no excuse for that. Amazing how strong the run defense is, but how bad the passing defense is. Hard to blame the defense for losing a game while only giving up 20 points.
Brady's brain fart at the end of the game was embarrassing and inexcusable. Not entirely blaming him for the loss, but it didn't help. Overall, the offense at times looks great and then other times it's like what are they doing. It's still early in the season, but if Saints win this week, they'll take over 1st in the division.

And completely bogus. Extended the drive and the Bears scored on that drive.
As was the false start on 3rd and 12 which the refs said was a neutral zone infraction. That led to a much easier third down conversion and the Bears scored on that drive.
Two drives which should've ended did not because of extremely poor reffing, and the Bears benefited with points off of each. Changed the outcome of the game bigly. Disgusting.---GIVE-------------------------------

I make a new official team thread and you b*tch at me yet here we are and you *******s don't post anything.
Don't know what happened last night, but defense wasn't playing great. Giants awful run game had a lot of success against the #1 run defense. I'm not sure if they took it easy because the Giants suck or what.
Offense was a little stale as well. Couldn't get the run game going. Evans didn't see much single coverage and no one else really stepped up to make big plays. Hopefully Godwin comes back soon and it'll be interesting to see AB next week. The team said he's in "unbelievable" shape for being gone for so long. Don't know how much of the playbook he knows or if he'll be running limited plays like he did with New England.
This is a big game to win against the Saints since they won in week 1. If they can win this week, I could easily see a 13-3 or 12-4 record.New England Patriot

Not really Sure where the Bucs go from here.. The Giants really exposed how to beat this team and bad, not sure why the Bucs refuses to play hype in Primetime..I get that they aren't used to it but Jesus Christ they have looked pathetic as phuck past 2 weeks..Bears game as well..The coaches gameplan has been utter chit as well..Hopefully this was a wake up call but I don't get how the you cant gameplan for the Saints who have owned you asses the past 5 years..Fuk off Bucs

I really don't know what happened last night other than the Saints owning us in every phase of the game.
Offensive line couldn't stop the Saints pass rush / blitz. Brady was feeling the pressure. WRs apparently weren't getting open. Brady going through his progressions and finding nothing. I have to think a lot of the issues were the Bucs coaching staff getting completely out coached. They couldn't make any meaningful adjustments to get anything going. Once they did, Brady and Brown weren't on the same page and ended up throwing an INT. No run game. Just painful to watch offensively.
Defense side of the ball was just as bad. They had ZERO answers for the Saints offense. Brees dink and dunked all game with no issues. I get that it doesn't help when the offense is struggling, but the defense sucked from the get go.
It was very clear that the Bucs weren't on the same page yesterday. Coaches need to figure out their chit. Players need to get their chit together. I don't mind the loss entirely because this was embarrassing. They were rolling recently, so maybe this is the type of loss they need to get back on track.
Another week with AB learning the offense and getting on the same page, not getting behind immediately and the Bucs will be able to run the offense they want.New England Patriot

Solid bounce back game for the Bucs! Surprised Arians gave RoJo another chance after the early fumble..dude def made up for it! Going to Monday Night game next week..Worried about how we have played in Prime Time this year plus Rams a much better team than Carolina..Hopefully we never see another Saints performance again!

That's how it's been for years now with Brady. Everyone tries to guess his fallout when he plays poorly.
I also was surprised they gave Rojo another chance after he fumbled. For the last couple weeks I honestly thought they were trying to find a reason to not play him over Fournette.
Even though we put up a lot of points, I honestly thought the offense was still not in sync. Rams, Chiefs, Vikings up next. Going to be a good test to see if we are SB contenders.New England Patriot

Arians/Leftwich HAVE to start calling more quick throws. It's nice to want to target 15 yards downfield every throw, but that takes a toll on the OL over the course of a game. Bucs were smart calling a bunch of WR screens early on but for whatever reason went away from it when it was working.

Rough game last night. Defense played well I thought...I mean good enough to give the offense a number of opportunities to take the lead. Rams were so one dimensional last night, it was surprising Bowles didn't come up with something to stop Kupp or Woods from having their way.
Offensively, I don't understand how they can be so stale at times with so much talent. I'm not expecting to them to score every play, but there have been stretches of games, this entire season, where they just can't get anything going and look terribly inefficient. Happened last night too for the majority of the second half. I don't know if Leftwich is calling a predictable offense or if defenses are playing that well. Brady missed a number of throws that would have been changers, but for the most part they couldn't move the ball.
It seems to happen when they can't / don't establish the run. If you asked me before the season if the Bucs would be successful if Brady threw the ball 48 times I'd tell you no way. Oddly, again last night it seemed they wanted to play Fournette over Rojo even with Rojo coming off his big game against the Panthers. Neither were successful running the few times they did and Fournette couldn't catch a screen pass to save his life. I think they need to stick with Rojo and make Fournette a change of pace back.
Looking ahead on the schedule, they play the Chiefs next week which they can definitely win, but I'll say that's an L which brings them to 7-5. Vikings, Falcons, Lions and Falcons to finish the season. If they can win those games, they'd be 11-5 and would sneak into the playoffs. Unfortunate with Brees out, the Saints play Broncos, Falcons and Eagles which even with a back up are likely to win.
I hope the Bucs get their chit figured out. This stretch of football is the most important and they need to be going into the post season all on the same page.New England Patriot

This team is one of the most hot and cold teams I’ve ever seen. Really not a fan of Leftwich’s play calling.
They really just need to play to Brady’s strengths instead of trying to force him to fit into Arians extremely risky deep throwing offense.
11-5 still seems like the most likely outcome although I wouldn’t rule out beating the Chiefs.US NAVY

I don't think anyone expected Brady to be playing at the level he was in his prime. Statistically speaking, he is a career 63.9% passer and he's currently at 64.7%.
This is the biggest issue. I don't understand why they brought Brady in and expected him to fit Arian's system without making adjustments to accommodate Brady's style. Brady is old, his arm strength is good, but it's not what it once was. He can't be throwing 48 times a game and he can't be throwing deep passes every other play.
I understand they have deep threat WRs, but Leftwich has to do a better job of play calling. This offense can't be so hot and cold and expect to go deep into the playoffs. Find a way to establish the run, call the dink and dunk plays Brady loves and take your deep shot when the defense gives you the look you want.New England Patriot

Brady missed some
Dropped Passes
but that 10 and 2do with 3 receivers going well pass the 1st down mark and only the RB coming off the back was a STUPID called.
2min with a TD to win it and you are going to give them another chance if you score too quickly? DUMBBBBB
already in midfield - eat up the clock, short passes and try to score or tie the game with a fg."Paper money is going away" - EM

Call me crazy, but I don't care much for how Arians seems to blame Brady for most of the issues on offense. No, Brady isn't perfect and he's made his fair share of mistakes, but Arians seems to make sound like it's all on Brady. Not finding the open WRs, not making the right reads, making bad throws etc...I don't think any other coach in the league calls out their QB like he does. I don't know if Brady feeds off that type of critique, but I can't see it being helpful.

yeah that "there were guys open" is not cool
in every play is a guy open but that is not how it goes - QB read the def and then goes thru the progression for the play.
also, no motions? no trick plays? f nothing... just line up and throw in the air - you are asking a 43 years old QB to do everything for you"Paper money is going away" - EM

Read an article, and I don't know how true it is, but they said tensions were mounting between Brady and Arians. Brady is typically very honest in post game interviews when he plays bad, but if Arians and Brady are already having issues, that isn't going to help turn things around.
Arians is a mediocre coach. He shouldn't be acting like he's the greatest and that he can blame Brady for everything. Leftwich play calling has been meh all season as well. I hope the rumors of high tensions isn't true and that the team can work together and start winning. There is no guarantee of playoffs if they can't finish the season strong.New England Patriot

Tough first half. Finally some adjustments were made to slow down KC. One thing I think the coaches have done a poor job of is making the adjustments needed to win.
Arians basically says this is what we're going to do, stop us if you want. Most teams have been able to adjust and take everything away. The defense can hold their own, just have to limit Hill on the big plays.New England Patriot

Crazy how much better the offense looks when it's in hurry-up mode with Brady calling the plays.

Yes! Even though we lost I was very encouraged by how we played. Offense looked much better. Leftwich finally adjusted and went with a style of offense that Brady is used to running and it made a big difference. It was nice to see the RBs actually catching the ball and they ran well too. I hope during film this week they can build on the success they had tonight. With the Vikings, Falcons, Lions and Falcons next I'm hoping they can win out.
Defense, outside of the first 17 points, adjusted well and played good enough to give them a chance to win. They have a lot of talent and speed and should be able to hang with teams. Just need to have the DC get them into good positions to be successful.New England Patriot

There was a 3rd down blitz in the 2nd half. Brady threw to Evans. The ball was behind Evans because he cut in the opposite direction. Incomplete.
They showed Brady talking to Evans on the sideline after the play. Brady was looking directly at Evans during the conversation, and Evans could not man up and look him in the eye during the conversation. Evans is a great receiver, but also has a knack to cut the wrong way and quit on routes.440+6 crew; Buccaneers Crew
