I don't understand this guy at all.

This franchise has nowhere to go but up honestly after the last few seasons.

Maybe he is just trying to create some competition at the QB position to keep Freeman working hard. I wouldnt mind that at all. I dont believe in job security in sports.

Big difference between competition and criticizing. No need to keep knocking Freeman, it was his 1st year in a vertical scheme. Vertical schemes are difficult to execute and INTs should be expected.

I would have gone West Coast and still been run-heavy, but to each his own.

That was just the Jets' wishful thinking, trying to get us to take out their trash.

Suffice it to say Freeman > Sanchez, especially in our scheme.

Sanchez is one of the few QB's in the NFL that if we traded for it would be an actual downgrade. Wish we could bring in some type of competition though. Orlovsky has absolutely a 0% chance of taking Freeman's job.

Not sure if there is any competition that you could find and bring in. Don't have the picks to draft someone, the QBs this year are trash, and all the veterans have already been inked to long term deals or are ****.

Top 10 in yards, yards/game, and TD's- he just needs to lower his INTs. Lot of Freeman haters out there.

Not brilliant at all. Better to give up lower round picks than to eat a $8M cap hit sandwich. Those lower rounders are most likely camp bodies. If they do make the team, there is a good chance they won't be starters. If they wanted it in lieu of a higher pick then possible. Rather take that $8M and use it to sign UFA specialists and roster cuts from other teams.

I think 1/3/6 is more than enough for Revis. That's 2 starters and camp meat for a corner that's better than we can draft with the same picks.

Serious lulz were had. Again, Freeman knows his job is secure, there is no real competition you can bring in at this point.

Given his experience with the system and the fact that he's entering a contract year with a coach who's not sold on him, I think he'll show great improvement. Hit the easy short passes, make better decisions when throwing downfield, especially into coverage.

As for Winfield, I think they'd prefer Ronde comes back for one last season. Send him off on a better season.

Bucs have been lacking a great TE and Josh Freeman did have a pretty good connection with Kellen Winslow during his better years here. Gives Freeman another weapon, especially underneath and in the middle of the field. Right now Crabtree would be the #1 TE on the team.

Depends. This is obviously assuming we keep the 13th pick- meaning we either got Revis for some others, or didn't get him.

Sully has famously never featured a TE in his offense. I don't know if he dislikes using them or never thought he had one to feature.

If Eifert is there @ 13 and Sully / Schiano would use him, then take him. Also possible to trade down a few spots and then take him. Always thought Eifert was a better prospect than Ertz or Escobar. Much better measurables to say the least.

I also like Austin but he's still pretty small physically. Not sure if his body will be able to take hits at the NFL level. Wouldn't want a playmaker made out of glass like a Danny Amendola. A lot of the smaller receivers like Amendola or D. Jackson always seem to be banged up.

I think 13 is reaching for any corner not named Milliner, and I know he won't fall that far. We could always move back up if necessary, but I think Eifert or Austin is the way to go.
