I am surprised by the amount of Misc'ers that actually think it's BS that they can go door to door like they are. Gives me a bit of hope.
Even saw where a guy from Canada agreed that it was totally wrong what they are doing.
I have given out more reps in that thread than negs.

It's weird gettign $300/500 wounds of Wolf, same day, and now I'm sitting here a full day in waitin for somebody to pay $625 for the Magtech. WTF?

My favorite post of that thread. This pic posted by an idiot that says it's perfect okay for the cops to bust in your house and search it.

I raised that in the main Boston thread.
The response I got was that its OKAY and not a 4A violation to be searching 200+ private residences based on tenuous hunches like windows open, doors ajar and people peering from behind curtains.
I was politely informed that its OKAY for them to search your residence, but they cant use anything they find against you due to their method of finding.
I'm waiting for stories of firearms confiscations by the Strike Teams.
...
For the purpose of discussion, what do you think is the proper course of action in this situation, where they found his escape vehicle abandoned?

Exactly, I mean theres people asking $1/rd so I figured at .75 or even .70 with some negotiating that it would go quick, its not like its readily available atleast that I've seen. Would love to bring the cost of the rounds I'm keeping to sub .50CPR. Going to throw the 500 rounds of Herters on there from Cabelas for ****s and giggles and see what I can get, figure through it up for $250 and keep the dry can cuz I really need more.

Any Canadian gun owners care to chime in about how they acquired a firearm?
I know there are legal classes of non-restricted and restricted firearms. I got this bit of info with regards to what a 'restricted' firearm is:
Restricted firearms include many handguns and other firearms which do not meet the above specifications. Some firearms are classified as "restricted" by Federal order-in-council. A transport permit is required to transport a restricted firearm from the location where the firearm is registered. Anyone with the appropriate firearms licence and a valid purpose can acquire this type of firearm. Hunting with restricted firearms is not allowed in Canada.

The cheap steel case stuff seems to be where it's at right now. I did: $300/500 Wolf, $470/1k Herters, and $330/600 Herters, all buy-it-now (did regular auction but people jumped on BIN), all sold in less than 12 hours. This week. For the $470/1k, I literally had the money in my account less than 1 hour after I posted it on Gunbroker.
But the Magtech stuff is languishing asking $625/1k.

Oh yea, forgot to say that I kept the 3 ammo cans that I got from those 2 orders.
So all in all I made a profit of $275 + 1,050 rounds of .22LR + 3 ammo cans......dealwithit.jpg
Also, these just went back in stock: http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.as...ack&groupid=14
EDIT: Only 7 available.

What's expensive?
Mosins: Russian, Polish, Hungarian, Romanian, Finnish, and Chinese
Nice Finnish Mosin $300-400, feels nothing like a typical Russian Mosin.
Chinese T53 $150-200, most have like new bores but look like they've been dragged across Mongolia behind a T72 tank.
Mausers: German, Czech, Turk, Swedish, Yugoslav, South American
German Mausers will be expensive and have rough bores - reason for both is because they're from WW2. $500-3,000
Yugo look very similar to German but made after WW2 and stored for 50 years. Like new, still in cosmo $~400
Enfields: British, Australian, Candian, South African, Indian
Usually all go for around $~350 and up, ammo is expensive (commercial) because all the surplus has dried up. Some Indian Ishapore Enfields are in .308NATO
French MAS rifles:
You can still find unissued MAS36 for ~$500ish, ammo is expensive because surplus is all gone
100+ year old stuff is going to be highly sought after by collectors so you might be more interested in WW1/WW2 stuff. Tons of other stuff like Krags, Berthiers, and Carcanos but they are rare and ammo is also rare/extremely expensive.Short Shorts Illuminati
