Post What does reps: 20 x 4-count (flutter kicks) mean?

Hi, I am currently concentrating on only bodyweight exercises.

I recently came across (for flutter kicks):

    reps: 20 x 4-count
    sets: 2

Obviously, I can understand reps & sets but what exactly does 4-count mean?

Kindly excuse my scant knowledge on this subject.

It means 1 rep is equal to 4 kicks ( 2 kicks by each leg, to be exact).

    4 Count

4- count would be one leg going up down up down. So as you count your reps each individual movement would be 1, so up (1) down (2) up (3) down (4) (obviously for flutter kicks both legs are doing the opposite motion.

Same thing for push ups or any other exercise you want to 4 count, push ups would be up down up down equals 1.
