For those who know the market and where a good start is for a beginner, can you suggest some bikes as a first bike?
I'm looking to get a sport bike, but am not sure about pricing and what would be a fair price vs. too high. I'm looking at a few Kawasaki Ninja's 2009+ on Craigslist. I'm somewhat flexible on price, I just don't want to get screwed over.

This is pretty tough for us to help you with over a forum, but the best thing you can do is let us look at the specific craigslist postings and we will have a decent idea if you're getting a deal or not. Bike prices can be very area specific due to availability of certain models.
So post a link, and the KBB value of the bikes you are going to look at.
Does anyone else get pissed off that SPEED doesn't replay the Moto GP race at a reasonable time? I'm not really a fan of watching a race at 8am on a Sunday.Redskins - Capitals - Wizards - Nationals

Here's the one that caught my eye. Can someone aware me on the difference between a limited edition vs. a non-LE model? He's asking $3500 for a limited edition model with 5K miles.
KBB says $2000 is a trade-in valve, and suggested retail value is $3000.
However, there's no private party option on KBB unless I'm missing something.

LOL that dedmonton for you brah. Last ex lives up there, sooooo much drama she created. So much so my kids didn't even like her.
Dropped some cash on new tires, gonna play with the Continental Sport Attack 2's. Also picked up a static balancer, be damned if I give money to the local shop with the rates he charges. Great guy, bad business. Looking forward to the new rubber, first time I've run continentals should be interesting.I might not be smarter than a 5th grader, but I can push one down the stairs and call it an accident.

That bike is about 20 minutes from my house. I think the special addition is just the Kawi green with different graphics.

That looks like a much better deal. I can look through craigslist later to get a better idea of 250 prices.
I checked out the Ninja 300 at the dealer yesterday. It's still physically too small for me, but I liked it.Redskins - Capitals - Wizards - Nationals

lol the questions were rhetorical to describe a thought process and i have yet to read 50 shades. i'm still undecided on whether or not i feel like reading it.
rude, occy's post was only 2 lines

no femme hate taken, and i think people going through craziness in relationships are perfectly entitled to vent a bit about it, so please don't hold back on the females itt's account. this is the last thing anyone would want to come home to. and yeah, that double standard is short bus special.
agree. or maybe like a couple times because not all the questions will spring up in the middle of whatever hurt is spinning its way through a person's system at first blush. some people know that they don't want the answers to those questions and can move forward more readily without them. they'd thrive on the one convo only and move on side; i think i'd rather usually have all the gorey details--know everything so that nothing within reason could come back to surprise me and bite me in the butt later. also, my mind can quickly start inventorying the worst possible scenario, so if i ask a couple questions, i usually find that the answer ends up being better than what i'd already braced for, which helps me get over it more quickly. but either case would only be if this hadn't been addressed at the beginning of when things started getting serious. if we do the whole "run down your past" thing when we're getting serious (which i completely advocate for, since things aren't as serious then, so people tend to care less than if they were to find out later... like at the altar), then i see no need to bring it up ever again.+R.I.P. Naw I live in Canmore. Tried that long distance sheit...........NEVER works.
Balancer is cheaper in the long run, buddies of mine can use it. Could also mount and balance buddies tires for cheap. Joys of being a mechanic, can use the shop mounter whenever I want. Can also throw it into my yearly write off.....good old tool allowance for mechanics.I might not be smarter than a 5th grader, but I can push one down the stairs and call it an accident.
