Just realized the last two Stanley cup winning goalies have come out of my beloved hockey east. Is there a reason that the NCAA seems to be putting out better goalies than Canadian juniors or foreign countries, or is this just a coincidence.

Why would being Americans make them better at hockey? American forwards and defenseman aren't as good as Canadian, Swedish, and Russians. What's so different about goalies?
