Zimmer being on the hotseat would be the most Minnesotan thing ever lmao, the dude just about singlehandedly turned the franchise around. With all the OL injuries/failures idk how you pin this season on Zimmer. His defense is just about the only bright spot this season haha

offense felt super free today, lets see if we can just take care of business. Our fate is in our hands. Not sure why or what happened the 2nd and 3rd quarter but man the defense was smothering the fins. Nice win

Same crap different year. Zimmer and Rick will bring in guys and keep moving forward on paper which is good. After watching Kirk for an entire year, I'm not sold on him for big games. He continues to crumble, look scared, he has no pocket awareness. Lots of times he could have stepped up and made a throw or side step away from the pressure. Hopefully we can get a good oline and give him more time but I'm not sold that will fix his head.

Where you guys at? Been a quiet offseason with zero money to spend.
What's the consensus on Josh Kline?
Was hoping they could restructure the Griffen and Rudolph contracts EDIT just saw Griffen restructured. Awesome. Should probably just give this money to Theilen
Not too excited about the Barr contract
Not disappointed to see Sandejo leave. Harris should do just fine in his place
I thought Richardson helped us last year. Would have liked to see him back
What will they target in the draft? OL, DT, RB, DE?

Target OL, DT, and TE in draft.
Don't know much about Kline, but Spielman's OL pickups in free agency typically suck (see guys like Remmers, Boone, and Andre Smith in the past).
Think they still have time to restructure Rudolph.
Thielen started last year off hot (8 straight 100 yard games), but then really cooled off in the 2nd half (only 1 game over 80 yards in the final 8 games). He is under contract through 2020 at the moment, so nothing he can really do after that slow finish to the year when we really needed him to step up. My guess is they wait another year to restructure his contract, but he'll be 30 years old by then so who knows..........Epic Beard Man crew

First round pick I can see being either OL, TE or DT depending on who falls to us. If Ed Oliver falls all the way to 18 I think they will take him in a heart beat. Then I guess it will depend on which OL is left depending on if a they start going off quick. I've seen mocks have 5-7 go early and then some where Williams falls all the way to us at 18 or even Taylor. I'd be fine with a couple of the OL prospects or even grabbing TJ Hockenson if he falls to us at 18. That was next year we can cut Ruddy and save on some cap space there. I'm sure we will grab 2 OL in this draft as we only have 2 guards right now on roster.

Anyone else hoping that Williams falls to us at 18? I don't like many of the other OL besides Dillard. Wonder if we will trade up to try and secure Williams if not I hope TJ falls to us at 18 and then we trade Ruddy and our second for the Pats 32nd overall pick and grab whatever OL is still on the board. Would clear some cap space.. maybe just trade Waynes or Rhodes for a second and grab another OL.. Whatever we do we need to grab a couple OL..

Especially given the fact that his track record of actually finding talent in the 6th or 7th round is horrendous.
Agreed on the Samia pick (forgot about him, he had a 2nd round grade per some sources). Didn't like the Mattison pick at all. Use a 3rd rounder on him when you can just pick up someone like Elijah Holyfield as an undrafted free agent?Epic Beard Man crew
