I could see them making a run at Cousins. He has already come out and said that he's been tagged twice and is "pretty good" financially and that winning is his number 1 priority.

outside of the perpetual negativity that goes along with being a vikings fan, i'd be pumped for next season. cousins is easily the best QB they've had since favre, except this time he'll actually be able to stick around for a while without the fear that he'll all of a sudden lose the ability to play football. cousin's receiving core was mediocre as fuk in washington, and he's now going to a team with one of the best receiving cores. there's also a chance that he'll be able to get something out of treadwell, who knows. that contract may cost them in future years when other guys' deals are up, but for this year, it gives them a great chance to win.

cousins isn't going to help the defense from imploding like it did in the playoffs last year, but the hope is that that was just a fluke. eagles are only looking better this year, so it's going to be tough to say the least.

still think the oline is the weak spot of the team, even if they made some strides last year.

Yup, their line was great this year but aging a bit. I hope they draft OL and DT with their 1st and 2nd picks.

So barr is up next year I saw that earlier today I mean I like Barr he’s a great player but I feel Kendrick’s could easily lead the backers well see tho decision will have to be made

Barr's pass rushing ability makes him very valuable to Zimmer's scheme, though. I don't think Barr or Kendricks is going anywhere but who knows..


Just saw a report that we've contacted Sheldon Richardson. Yes please. Wouldn't be mad if him and Cousins are our only FA signings.

God damn Richardson is going to be great on this DL, still can't believe they got him. I would say now they just need a bit of depth at DT and it might be time to start looking for Griffen's replacement. I wouldn't be surprised/angry if they went DE with their 1st or 2nd pick.

Think OL should be priority number one, though. There are a few guys that should be available at the bottom of the 1st for us. I'd be thrilled with getting a day one starter for OG there. That's assuming Remmers stays out at tackle.

OL/DE/CB are my big 3 needs. Also wouldn't be a bad idea to grab a good LB if one falls.

why try to go for replacement of griff? think its time to move on from robinson, hunter is an up and comer not sure what happened last year but his first 2 years dude was a wrecking ball, with hunter, richardson, joseph and griff man thats a very formidable D line, offensive line defintaly has to be a point of emphasis in the draft maybe a decent linebacker in 3rd or 4th round and maybe a replacement for sendejo if he doesnt want to come back.

Griffen turns 31 this season man. I can see his age catching up with him in these next couple of seasons. And Robison as well. They need DE depth, too.

Everson is 31, but doesn't have the mileage on him of most players that age. He played very sparingly his first couple seasons. Just something to factor in.

I want to go OL with our first pick. Next two picks DE, LB, or WR.

I like all the OL guys Jman listed. It would also be really nice if we can convince Berger to come back to help with more depth.

He tore his pec at the combine though. His people immediately starting doing damage control about it being a low grade tear where he'll be back in time for training camp, but our medical staff needs to do their own homework there. Pec tears can be a really big deal to come back from.

Depending on the severity of the tear, I thought worst case scenario drops Price a round or round and a half.

Spielman loves drafting college teammates, so I can see Price being on his radar.

That should be a great game, gonna be one of the toughest games on the schedule. The Rams made some serious moves this offseason.
