Vikings brahs, what are you opinions for trading AP. I've been reading that Teddy seems to be better in shotgun compared to under center, but its the opposite for AP.
Would you want the vikings to explore trading AP and giving over the team fully to Teddy, or would you rather just keep AP and stick with the same style of offense?

He needs to do more and I think he will have a better chance with a healthy offensive line. Remember, he couldn't do a full 7 step drop without getting killed most of the season. That's why we saw a lot of short passes and quick drops. He really needs to get better with not holding onto the ball too long. He did what was needed today with that Seattle pass rush and nobody blocking Bennett.
I'm very encouraged for next season now. It will be interesting to see what they do with the receiver group. Diggs and Wright aren't going anywhere but Wallace and Johnson are likely gone. Hoping Rudolf stays healthy all next season to see if he can have more of an impact. He has shown flashes, but never took that next step.
Defense....I'm loving the defense. Wayne's stepped up big today for his first significant action in any game this year. I hope Newman doesn't age too bad going into next year because he made a lot of good plays this year. Hunter will be a beast getting more playing time. Him and Griffin with some designed extra blitzes should continue getting pressure on QBs. Curious if Robison will be gone. He is decent against the run but sucks at pass rushing.Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

Alright now that I've had time to calm down I can say that the Vikings did surprise me and honestly that defense brought their A game today. Aside from that lucky ass drive from Seattle the D was scary good.
Offense needs work. Relying on these FGs is getting old. Hopefully this gets fixed next year.
Cant wait for next season.
And to the above I believe its time to shop Peterson for a pick in the draft. He's obviously a kryptonite to our offense at this point. I kept saying to let Teddy do his thing because he played good today.

trading AP is a huge overreaction/knee jerk reaction
this guy is literally our offense, more so develop teddy to ****ing work under center is more important. Defiantly exceeded our team expectations this year. With our original o-line back next year, possibly a new safety and teddy actually developing instead of staying the same we should be good

If we moved more towards the shotgun Mckinnon would thrive so much, with screens and running routes.
Wasnt the 60 yarder again the ghey men out of the shotgun? Still couldnt believe he went from a dead stop to just burning the entire field without breaking a sweatMisc Photography Crew

I'm sure this has been mentioned, but I wanted to give my obvious piece - After all of my replay watching, I'm convinced that the Robinson substitution (injury or not) was the key factor in the vikes loss. The one play you all know was the one that weighed the most. Incredible.
BTW BRob still sounded heartbroken on kfan this morning. Feel bad for Walsh.Disclaimer: The contents of the above post are completely fictional in nature and are in no way a representation of the author's opinions, beliefs, or notion of intent.

You actually sound like such a butthurt fangay.
I'm not even a seahawks fan. I have stated in this thread many times that Teddy's ceiling is that of alex smith, and that would be very very promising if he grows into that one day.
That said he isn't even close to that yet. He holds onto the ball way too long and takes sacks he doesn't have to. Granted your Oline is garbage and that needs to be fixed first.

Nobody is saying that. But it would certainly help him. Teddy needs to improve as well, but yeah keep acting like he's as bad as Blake Bortles or something.
And the alex smith-ceiling is just regurgitated trash that neckbeards like yourself to use. Lol @ using imajoey's opinion as the basis for your argument.

still think our priority is O line easily... look at the tape and 75-80% of the plays bennett was splitting those guards like a hot knife through butter...
Receivers can be 2nd i guess but id rather pick up a better side kick to harrison smith, cant stand sendejo he could be a sick 2nd stringer but he gets burned alotMisc Photography Crew

Agree. Starting to get really annoyed with Loadholt and Sullivan, they can't stay on the field. Even fusco didn't look great this year, but he had to switch sides so can't blame him. I think they need to spend at least two early rounders on OL and maybe even try to pick up a OL in FA that isn't complete trash. They can't just sign another Mike Harris for ****'s sake they NEED to spend some money on the OL. It was a miracle that Teddy made it through the season w/o a major injury.

I actually thought teddy played well yesterday... Too bad Norv doesn't trust him with anything. Regardless Teddy will never be a good qb if we need to feed ap 20 times when he sucks dick. Our play calling was just so bad yesterday and those mid-range routes were open but we never ran them.
